IMO, someone is only a newbie the first time they post. By the time you've made your second post, you're a regular :D
    Well said, tru.

we are all family here, newbies always very welcome, and doesnt being in a family mean you look out for each other, support each other, laugh and cry with each other and yes also have differences of opinion but at the end of the day life is too short to go to bed with disagreements
there has to be rules for the smooth running of the site just as there has to be at home, tomorrow is a new day

i expect everyone to be here tomorrow morning and i wont take no for an answer :D

    granny twink has spoken :rotfl:
  • I have to say that I agree with frogga, very few of the posts on here are strictly OS.

And as all this has upset me as well; I won't be back, either. I had done really well with my food choices until today because of the comments on here.
  • No-one has been personally attacked on here and it is unfair to blame anyone on this thread for any dietingn mishaps any of us have had today. I got some tablet for my birthday and I've had several chunks of it even though it's not my birthday yet! But that's my responsibility - no-one else's.

This is just about what goes where and we have this conversation every now and again. I'd hate to lose you, Frogga and you, odds. What I want to say is, I'd be long gone if I'd disappeared after having posts moved or being told I was posting in the wrong place. I did it ALL the time for ages when I first joined here. And when I became a board guide I STILL managed to send posts to the wrong boards a few times.:o :D
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.
  • Oh Dear

Have pm'd a few folk tonight. Please, please don't go. Everyone's views are welcomed whether we agree or not. Is this not what debate, forum etc about.

No news about Mum - she wasn't transferred back from Ninewells and just waiting to hear from my DS who will have visited her tonight. PRI said they thought all OK when I phoned.

    A slightly anxious GB.
  • (((((hugs))))) Grannybroon

Well I didn't clean my bathroom (although I did chuck some bleach down the loo  ).

I've got myself a nice rum and coke - DH has gone out working tonight - and I'm just about to watch Hell's Kitchen.

Seriously starting to think about Christmas now, well the preparation of buying/making people's pressies. I've got 2 scarves in the making - thought I'd alternate between the 2 so I don't get bored :rotfl:

I'd like to say huge (((((hugs))))) to everyone - we're not children and we shouldn't argue as such. Let's hope everyone sleeps on todays events and wakes up friends again :D
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)
  • Just to say Mum fine - procedure only at 4.00 pm today.

    Frogga,

Please dont go, you started on the same day as me, and I feel I have come to know you.

Odds, please dont go either, you have fab cooking suggestions, and I love hearing about your day.

To the others who said they might go, please don't, I am quite new here and would love the chance to get to know you all more, sorry for not mentioning names but I am a bit hopeless at remembering :D

Please lets all start tomorrow with a clean slate, I hate when we fall out
Amie, did you get your blackberrys ?

    Big hugs all round
