I still feel a million miles away from an offer!

Had to re send landlord reference as wasn’t dated.
Had to get gifted deposit letter amended
And send my works details so they can write for a reference.
Feel like they can’t be possibly any more they can request.. then they request something else!
Been a month since initial application.
  • Morning

Had to create another account from my stephengoole one as it wouldn’t open. (I gave a little detail about our application last night)

    Full offer received this morning.

Taken about 4/5 weeks in total. 2 questions and all pretty straight forward

    Thanks

I feel like we are going round in circles!! Our case is now with the underwriter to assess (which should take 2-3 days and the manager has been asked to prioritise it as it’s been going in for almost 4 weeks!

We have been waiting nearly 5 weeks now and as far as I no the house still hasn't been valued.
If we are going to be declined i'd rather know as soon as possible so we can get moving with an alternative lender.
    Very stressful!
  • Hi all just an update we’ve now received our official offer had an email this afternoon confirming. In total from app to offer was 5 and a half weeks. I hope you all get the news your waiting for this week!
  • From what I know if they are still asking for info it’s a good thing because they assess documents every time they come in as opposed to an underwriter only assessing once every document is in if that’s makes sense? So if there was something they didn’t like so far ie something on your statement they would have declined at that stage rather than ask for more documents to satisfy other things like proof of income. Hope that makes sense

Ohh that’s good news brilliant! Yes your right, should be Friday latest for us, is that how you receive the offer? Email? Is that direct from precise?
  • Hi Kaggs!
Ours was emailed over to us by the broker but I didn’t expect to have the offer today I thought I’d get a decision as to whether or not it would go to offer so fingers crossed you’ll just get your offer sent over Friday and you can have a stress free weekend!
