oh noooo now I have something else to worry about 😂

This is so difficult sometimes I want to just give up with it and carry on renting!

I also get scared by new build horror stories!

When are you all set to exchange
ours is aiming for the 14th of June with completion on the 30th of June....

it seems a little optimistic! We have gone with an online conveyancer which I’m starting to doubt my decision now!

Had another series of questions today, but they are more about having my new p60 and husbands p45 and a new bank statement.  They asked about one transaction, which is my husband part mortgage payment to his old house which is being sold.  Will have to wait now until end of month before we submit again so our story is not going to be sorted until a few weeks into June.  I hope we get to complete before stamp duty ends.

Just keep them informed they know morgages can take time.. our house complete aug now 2 months before original date given 😁 3 weeks I start my journey 2 weeks for another dip.. I've paid off catalogue and credit card since last one.. so affordability.. no question..

That time is going quickly is nt it. Must be nice to have paid of credit cards x

We put our offer in at the end of December after being told they were on the HTB scheme which they were not it then took until the end of April to get the authority to proceed it feels like a life time.

There are only 9 houses in the development all sold and their is a property boom in my area with house prices increase at the highest in the country so a bit nervous we may get gazumped!

Ooo what house type have you gone for? Whats worrying me is before we reserved each time they released a house they went up by around 5-10k but since we got ours everytime they have released theyve not gone up 🙈 x

I rang the Valuation company😂🙈 I can’t stop myself! So they said they hadn’t contacted the house developer because Precise didn’t give them the contact details for them 😐 Anyways I gave them the details, then 20 minutes later I got an email from the developer saying the valuation is booked for tomorrow!!! Eeeekk not sure on the time though, she just said between 10-5. It says on precise website that its 5-7 working days to get an update after valuation but i’m thinking of just chasing precise and the valuation company tomorrow to see if I can find out how it went🤷‍♀️ How long did it take everyone to get an update from Precise after valuation? (They have confirmed they are offering subject to valuation now so there should be no more questions)

I've reserved 3 bed tyrone but I've fell in love with 4 bed Longford haha.. but I'm sticking with my reservation as its 50k cheaper...I'm sure with gleeson they rarely under valued as they are great value for money.. ours is only 155k for brand new home with garage.. house prices for old council homes in our area no garage etc are least 120k.. keep me updated on your valuation and what house are you going for?

Thats a very similar situation to us! So we actually reserved a 4 bed waterford but then they released a liffey (3 bed detached with the funny front window) 50k cheaper! So we went for that instead and we gonna extend into the garage (without gleeson knowing🙈) Ours is £182k but about 4 months before was only about £150k so thats whats worrying me :-/ 🤞 I’ll let you know how valuation goes!
