I'm very lucky i have such an understanding seller who is prepared to wait until I return to work hopefully on the 12th April. But I technically would of lost 10% of the house purchase from my deposit. If she didn't wait. Which would of been just heartbreaking. Baring in mind I sold my property in March 2020 and moved in with parents short term.this is the 3rd property I've tried purchasing.. First 2 both sellers decided they didn't want to sell once covid hit... its been a very stressful experience which I never want to repeat again.. I always thought once you had your offer that was it.Amy32 said:

Definitely taking a tough approach to SE. I’m hoping because my partner is in full time employment and earns more than double what I do it’ll make a difference! Very worries about it thoughMillybob90 said:
Sole. I think it makes it more difficult but they are definitely taking a harder stance with s.e_AandL_ said:
That’s awful! Was it a sole or joint application?Millybob90 said:Before it was offered... after it was offered I exchanged contracts and day before completion they refused to release funds.0 -

I hope so! My storey seems so similar to yours. We lost our first property during the first lockdown because the seller pulled out (turned out he wanted to rent and not sell) This is our second time trying and like you I’m back to work on April 12th. Have no idea how precise will view it though.Millybob90 said:

I've spoke to my broker today and they've said im basically stuck until I can re open so everything crossed for 12th.. ye very similar my first was literally as covid started I should have completed April but 25th March they didn't to back out.. 2nd time seller was at risk of redundancy so decided to take it off the market... I offered on this property end of October then had a delay of offer due to having to shut november.. soon as I reopened December and send bank statement to prove trading precise issued there offer.. then this 3rd one happened.. just so glad my seller can wait.. I hope everything works out for you, precise have been fab its just frustrating situation. If id of completed the week before itd of all been done n dusted._AandL_ said:
