Aww *sob* thanks for your kind replies!!! I am going to keep selling regardless! I can't wait to give her 8 negative feedbacks she really deserves it (and I'm happy to take 8 negs back if she feels that way!). She has already about 5 or 6, and I have none to date so it will impact her more than me. I won't be bullied into not giving negative feedback!!

On a positive note, I second chanced offered one of the items to someone and they have bought it and ALREADY PAID ! yipeee!! (I then wondered if it was ok to do this as we are still officially in the dispute, im about to ask on the eBay board! original buyer has stated she WILL NOT PAY for the items so really I think Im free to re-sell!)

Roz_V good luck to you! I didnt think I would make anywhere near the amount I have done, I'm about half way to my £250 target for the telly for my OH and have enough stuff to probably make that target. I've still got that £250 to spend another £100 for my dad and about £150 for my mum. I have bought all my other presents so yikes... £500 to go! if i get 50% of that I'll be so happy!

I'm going to have a go on amazon too, got some perfectly good books that need to go!

Has anyone seen harry potter 5, 6 and 7 (books) on offer anywhere? when 7 came out it was about £5, now the cheapest I can find is £10ish. I can find 5+6 for £5ish but not 7!!

  • I have been reading this thread and the Finished Baskets thread over the last couple of weeks and have been really inspired!! Thank you for all your great ideas! I have a bedroom full of baskets, cellophane, cosmetics, sweets etc etc etc. My DD & I are having a FAB time with it all!

Anyway the reason I have finally plucked up the courage to post (this is my first!!) is to ask jamtart6 if I could have a copy of your ebay spreadsheet. I want to try and offset the costs of xmas by selling our unwated stuff. Its such a brill idea using your old stuff to help finance the new.

    Thanks again everyone!

Hiya craftycrofty:hello:....good luck in the tart challenge...oops ;) I mean Jamtarts Challenge.
  • Well done Ashli :) .....the first of many I hope. :)

Everyone seems to be getting off the starting blocks now and we have a couple of months still to complete our challenge :j

I might not achieve my 75% award :( ....but I'm going to give it a bloomin good go. I've still got quite a few boxes left and a few items should fetch a decent amount hopefully *fingers crossed*

The only problem is whenever anyone in the house sees me going around in drawers etc they start to get a little panicky that I'm going to ebay something of theres ;)

I had a cardboard box in the kitchen yesterday for whenever everyone came home from work/school/college and didnt hardly let them step through the door before bombarding them with questions :D ........

Do you want this anymore? You dont use it anymore?. I never see you use it? When did you last use it? etc etc lol

Ummmm I think they've started hiding things from me ;)
