Yes busy granny, I will post pics in a couple of weeks once the glass is in - before and after

I've had to halt the painting as there is no power in there and it's just too dark now. I couldn't see where I'd done so although the ceiling has had two coats it's likely patchy... But it does mean I can stay away from the light fittings if I need to touch it up later.

I think tomorrow afternoon I will just clean up in there - shrink wrap is still on the doors and there it can stay until everything is finished. But I'll vac out the insides and maybe start moving back in :T

Tomorrow evening I shall be cooking dinner! might even stick a bottle of becks blue in the fridge to celebrate haha.

My neck aches - nice hot shower before bed methinks!

CY.. I only do what I have to.. very little extra.. though I appear to have volunteered myself to knit a blanket for DD1's inlaws..

OHs mother visiting on Tuesday.. I need to do at least a little cleaning and I simply do not have the energy, or probably the ability.. I abdomen is incredibly sore and painful.

Batman vs Superman is a pile of rubbish.. if you've not seen it, don't waste 3 hours of your life!!

I'm off to bed I think, I am absolutely shattered... I'm so old! hahahaha

OH is most disappointed he thought going to bed at 10:30 = tents.. no chance.. I was asleep before he got upstairs lol.

Don't think I'm painting again today though... I have neck ache lol.

Good Afternoon all,

Sorry I've been AWOL for a couple of days. Lots of very distressing stuff happening with grandad, saddest of all being the children aren't allowed on the ward due to infection risk so they will likely never see him again It's all very sad but we must plod on.

I have been keeping up with the dailies but very little else. I am utterly dog tired, so hoping for a lazy weekend. I have, however, eaten two frogs in the form of finally sorting out DD's gymnastics lessons and arranged her birthday party.

Righty ho, I'm off for a sandwich, hoping DS has a nap so I can lay on the sofa for an hour.

Loads of family are descending tomorrow for a visit - we are the nearest relatives to the hospital where grandad is and they are calling in here when they visit him - mega flying now required :eek: xx

Busy day at work, I've only just got in. Need to hang some washing out, sort shopping list and get food sorted. Ds2 should arrive home soon so I expect I'll have a wm going most of the weekend.

I've begun moving back into my kitchen! I've put some things in the fridge (it's massive!), and larder. I've unwrapped my free pans and put them in my pan drawer and sorted the cutlery drawer too. Also unwrapped my worktop savers and moved microwave, kettle and coffee machine

All the important stuff

Some washing up in in the new DW - I cooked dinner with my new oven hooray. And my WM is going.

Few hiccups with the electrics - but nothing massive. He was here most of the day though so I've not achieved much although I did dust our bedrooms. Couldn't vac as lekky was off most of the day.

Tomorrow we just have DD ballet class in the morning then we are at home the rest of the day. Really need to catch up on laundry (boo, rain forecast!) and get more organising done. And mop the hallway.i may even repaint the ceiling tomorrow night if I feel like it. And do an online shop to come on Monday.

I'm loving my new kitchen and can't wait for my splashback to be fitted. Monday I also need to decide on flooring...

Oh Bossy so exciting. I am still loving my new kitchen 6 months on. For anyone wondering about tiles we went for mosaic tiles and they are really easy to clean.

Atypical hugs. Promise me you wont stress about the state of the house, no-one will care.

When is the wedding CY? We need to organise a flylady toast at the appropriate moment.

So mad week. DS passed his moped test and has gone off on his own for the first time. Really happy for him.

I really dont want to work tomorrow but dont have much choice. I will also have to take the dog to my parents as DS2 is having a couple of mates for a sleepover and our little dog is getting increasingly funny with strangers. DH and DS1 are out for the day so I will just have to get on with it!
