More laundry done. Even my whites seem whiter :D
Kiddies (and me) fed - wraps and bits from the fridge, and we wrote a meal plan / shopping list together :)
Attacked the window that had unibond dripped down it. Needed the scraper but all polished and I can see through them now, haha.
DW has been on, and produced nice shiny cups and plates.
Oh, and I've transferred frozen food now. I have some stuff to fling that we are just not going to use. Actually, mum may want them for her littlies.
Just having a :coffee: and I'll do an online shop I think.

Kitchen fully cleaned including wiping under the wall cupboards and tiles and lights

Hair decluttere too. My hairdresser is retiring this year. I have been going threw for forty years, with an occasional foray into other places.

My backside has been firmly glued to the sofa all day...

    Tried on outfit, watched Wimbledon.

Just thinking of what I fancy for tea.

Husband has disappeared to the pub. Something to do with a cricket victory. First one of the season...

DH is being a complete male hen. I'm starting not to like him very much, which isn't good. He told me today that he doesn't have to do anything once he gets home from work, because he is then finished for the day and my day just couldn't possibility be as stressed as his, so he needs his down time. Oh, and I make no financial contribution....!!!!!!? I own two houses, one of which provides an income equal to his and that's without my Carer's Allowance, I'm project managing [STRIKE]our[/STRIKE] my house restoration, I've bailed him out of £45K of personal debt and bringing up two children, three dogs and assorted farm animals. IS HE FOR REAL?

He is currently sulking somewhere as I told him to get lost. How convenient for him - he gets away with the bedtime [STRIKE]fiasco[/STRIKE] routine.

Rant over, but comments and suggestions welcomed.

Go away for a week all by yourself Dizzy.. let him try to do it all.. see if he likes it!

Or write a list of what you have done during the day and give him it.. every day until he apologises. .. ask him what time you 'clock off' .. and bill him for your services!

Or do nothing.. not a thing.. and when he asks what you've done, say none of the things you get any credit for!

Or just smack him in the head.. :p

I'll refrain from giving advice as I have seen two off...but i know where you're coming from dizzy so hugs.

Bathroom now spotless, towels in WM ready to go. Decluttered a nap, too. By accident but there you go.

  • Hi all.

Bog all flying done, I'm visiting mum and dads for the day. Had my lunch and tea made, and children have trashed their house instead of mine! Winner!
I will honestly make them tidy up before I leave.

Dizzy words need to be had. I am well aware I earn less than my OH, but all money is our money. We both know that we both work equally hard, either paid or unpaid. If he can't see how much you do perhaps you need to stop doing it. Perhaps the stress of your whole situation is getting to both of you though? Do you spend any time alone away from the house?
