We are home with our afternoon plans scuppered although kids haven't mentioned it so I won't either...
Little boy is home (actually an ear infection:() so we made it to football only for DS to make an amazing tackle but the ball rebounded and hit his bad knee and he went down like a sack of spuds. He's now on the sofa with nurofen and an ice pack and I had to piggy-back him to the car!
So we are not doing the woodland trail today. We're all shattered anyway from lack of sleep.
ATB sorry to hear about your grandad I hope things are more peaceful for him xxxBossymoo

Sounds like people are having lots of stuff happening. So flylady hugs being sent in all directions.
Here bottom is glued to sofa.
I really feel for the flylady whose OH is being a total dork.
He helped make the children so he should help look after them. I agree you should go away and do something for you and let him experience a fraction of what you do on a daily basis.
Still no message from LW? Getting worried.now...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Oh Dizzy love, hugs. We had issues with both teenagers last night. Youngest wanted to stay out at an all night party at some unspecified location (dont think so mate, you are only 15)!. I gave him an extension till midnight but I was worried that he wouldnt be at the agreed pick up place but thankfully he was. Eldest was late home and didnt let us know. Hubby just leaves it to me, no help at all - even though I could see he was worried. Then he tells me to stop fussing so much!!!
I tend to avoid confrontation with DH but sometimes you just have to spell it out to them. Dont assume that your DH knows why you are upset, you have to tell him, if nothing else it will make you feel better.
Been to watch DS2 play cricket, he did really well despite the late night. Sorted some laundry and had a bit of a tidy. After all the fiasco last night I am tired so I might just have an hour on the sofa.
atb thinking of you x.0 -

Just returned from a birthday party with Small. I stayed to have a chat with some of the other mums, so DH had to manage Tiny *snigger*
I've come home to find they've gone out (rather than DH finish digging the border), washing updated to and not done and DH has eaten all the items I bought specially for his lunches next week rather than cook something himself - goodness knows what Tiny was fed!
Ah, he's just drive through the gates, so I wonder what [STRIKE]excuse[/STRIKE] reason he will give. He has made an apology of sorts, so I'm not as snotty as last night.0 -
Bunch of stuff thrown on ebeast.. I am spending this week working through my boxes of ebay stuff to get some cash in and some crap out hopefully.. LOADS of school trousers in bigger girl sizes to go and baby coats and just stuff.. boxes and boxes of stuff!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Oh gosh, DS heard me on the phone saying we weren't going because of his leg - he really wanted to go "pleeeeeaaase mum!" So we went and he hobbled a bit but the more he walked the looser his knee became so I think it was a good thing after all. Took 5 kiddies on the narrow gauge railway lol. We did bug pile digging, pond dipping, looked at tadpoles and all sorts plus a stroll through the woods.
Early bath and bed for my two tonight (and me!!!)
Just made dinner in my kitchenlove it. And they both ate it too!

Evening all,
Thank you so so much for your kind wishes it means an awful lot. Grandad still with us but heavily sedated. I've come down with a heavy cold - hardly surprising. House still a tip. And poor DS has a hernia in his groin and needs emergency surgery this week. He's only 2
I am very happy to see the back of this week. See you all in the new thread & thank you for being my friends xx:)MFW
