No bad things allowed, there are plenty of threads about how we're all screwed economically. In this thread let's all be positive, shiny happy people :j

Everyone must post ONE positive thing about brexit. No sarcasm allowed.

    No certainties but possibilities....

I would hope that the over-regulation and over reaction to the mortgage market can be rolled back. No idea how much of this is down to the EU it might mostly be domestic nonsense

Brexit will probably kill the Hinkley nuclear project which on balance of probabilities is probably a good thing. It may spur the AP1000(American) or Chinese derivatives in the UK which imo would be better options. Never seemed to make sense to me to have three sites with three different technologies and designs (EPR1600, Ap1000, ESABR) probably better to try and build 12-18 AP1000s across the 3-5 sites.

Doing our own trade deals with the world, and there plenty examples of these taking a matter of months, certainly under two years, which means greater prosperity for us

UKIP have just lost their disgruntled Tory support.

We won't be able to blame all our problems on the EU.

Discussing a post Brexit economy is way more exciting than discussing house prices ad infinitum.

From a EU point of view, not having UK always pushing for a weaker union and asking for "special treatment"

PS: I'm joking...but I suggest to everybody to have a look at the comment sections in some foreign newspaper and see how many ppl think that the EU is better off now!

    Bliss.
