The seller gave me a full refund and didn't even want the book back:j. I would have bought a copy of that book anyway so I wonder if I can count the £5 towards my money made as I ended up with a free book? Aesop, are you around today to advise please?
definitely Carbootcrazy. nice0 -
Ok, been neglecting the thread beause of real life.
But I did say I had found some new apps and would tell you about it.
worked out one has paid me £27 to date :j just a shame every time I try to put the money into a savings account, I end up spending it somewhere.
1. geotask - a slow app. have previously talked about it. you get 10points worth 10p or might even be 1p, for every check in they do when you are near certain shops. However, they run a weekly competition with a chance to win paypal. I have won 3 times, so £3 paid out via paypal. the app itself when you reach 3000 points you can cash out £3, so I am quids up.
2. mobilexpression - cash out at 10 credits for £5 amazon or 15 credits for £10 amazon, keep app installed and get your credit weekly.
3. Slidejoy - only on android. slide your screen with slidejoy to earn carats. cash out monthy on the 18th for paypal converted from usd or amazon. 1usd = 0.76 pence cash out at a minimum of 2000 carats for $2 paypal or 6589 carats for £5 amazon. Basically a lock screen that you unlock to earn.
4. Whaff locker and whaff - again only available on android. You can see why I love android so much. Another lock screen app that works alongside slidejoy. I have both installed on my phone.
cash out at $10.00 for paypal or $10.50 for amazon but not sure this is paid in uk amazon.
by unlocking your phone by using whaff, you can earn daily amounts, attendance amounts by logging in and clicking on it and sliding to unlock. I haven't cashed out yet but half way there.
5. Embee Meter IX - my favourite so far! I have earnt £27 over weeks with this app! You earn meter points for keeping it installed daily and there is another app within that earns you extra points. can cash out for paypal at $1.50 equivalent to £1 uk. cash out points 150 for £1 or 500 for £5 paypal. I did a survey the other day for £10! It didn't take long, money credited after 24 hours and I withdrew to paypal.
6. bigDL - like receipt hog. Not really investigated this app properly but there is a daily spin, I posted about it on a facebook group. Someone downloaded it and won £5 on their first go! I have just been enetered into prize draws.
7. Raffler currently down for android as they moved servers. Chance to win £1000 daily just for watching 2 ads. sometimes you dont even have to watch an ad, and you are entered into the draw!
8. shopprizeuk - android only. enter sweepstakes or just keep uploading receipt to reach 7500 points. you cash out for £5 amazon at this stage.
9. OnePulse my favourite. short surveys. not all are paying surveys, but I enjoy doing the short quick surveys. paid surveys vary from 10p to more. cash out at £5 paypal.0 -
just cashed out £6 paypal from pinecone
so far received £1.50 from embee
£5 from ondevice
£1.50 from embee
£3 from ondevice
£1 from ecasher
£10 from embee
£1.50 from embee
£5 amazon from mail rewards
£10 amazon credit from amazon0 -
Aesop, you're the app queen:A:beer:
Yesterday I received a cheque for £130 for the delivery job I did in June. I don't know about anyone else but I find cheques so old fashioned these days, I can't understand why big companies don't pay by bank transfer:(
Anyway, shouldn't grumble really as it came within the promised time-frame:j. I don't have a local branch of Nationwide to pay it into (nearest is 18 miles away:(), I opened my account online and do all dealings that way. After all, I can get actual cash out from any cash machine anywhere and I use a debit card most of the time for shopping:j. I usually post cheques off to their head office as advised online but as I'm waiting for my £50 Populus redemption cheque which should arrive any day now as promised;) I'll wait and send them both off together. Not adding money for either to my total until cheques have cleared though. Fingers crossed it's before month end.
Lovely sunny day here, I hope you're all as lucky:beer:
Forgot to mention, my ancient car passed its MOT yesterday. Chuffed about that and only £30 spent for test fee:j:j:j0 -
Thanks for the list Aesop........a couple there that I should investigate. Just not enough hours in the day for all my online activity and fitting real life in as well :rotfl:

Congratulations on the Free Postcode Lottery win, edinburghgirl:T
My £50 cheque from Populus surveys arrived today so that and the £130 delivery job cheque have been posted off to Nationwide. Night be cleared by end of next week:j so will add it then.
Sold a book on Amazon overnight and posted it off today. Just a cheapie, not much profit due. Went against the grain having to pay for postage now all my 'free' stamps have been used up:( though it did go as a large letter:T.
Have a lovely weekend everyone:beer:0 -
