Goodmorning everybody,
Well I've been a busy little bee today.More baking, cleaning, gardening & menu & list making. Off to see my sister on Wednesday. We meet up at the shopping centre so thought I'd get a few bits and pieces while I"m there. XDIL rang last night and said DGS was still not good but rang today and said he had a good night and is much better today. Her & nbf are going to a funeral down this way on Friday so has asked me to look after him. :jHopefully it will be for a few nights. Can't wait.
PP Happy Birthday  No you're still a spring chicken at 33. Just
HH You're welcome. I hope it helps.

Good Morning All
Happy Birthday to Pen Pin, have alovely day!
Here’s hoping we all had a good weekend. Was busy to catch up with the daily, so apologises if I missed any celebrations or sad news! (((hugs))) to those who need them.
Saturday was spent, paying bills in town (just missed the rent office closing - so OH will do that today in his lunch hour), wandering around town trying to find DD a swimming costume! Finally got one in Adams, but its too small, so that’s got to go back! Grrr!
Went to get 2 tyres for the car, I usually buy pre-worn, but they didn’t have my size available, so that’s another trip to make in the week.
Called in at Iceland - to stock up on a few things. Ended up doing the weekly shop, to save hassle doing it later on! Was surprised how much money we saved this week!
Came home, to do more washing, and the housework.
Was suppose to have gone to the world Renault series at Donnington on Sunday, but due to lack of funds, and only just remembering the MOT is due soon, which I need the money for! So, I let the tickets go on freecycle!
ExOH was suppose to have had the kids this wk end, still a no show from him or any other form of contact! Roll on the appointment for the solicitors tomorrow, and lets hope we can get back to normal! Despite his behaviour, its not fair on the kids!
Listed a few things on eBay! Mainly some of mum’s wedding items, as her and the fella have now broke up, and the wedding is off!
Work today, must phone the council afterwards, to complain about my toilet they recently fitted. Its not set properly in the cement, you have to be careful when sitting, otherwise it’ll topple over! As I found out, reaching over for the loo roll! Lol
I forgot to remind my cousin to water my plants whilst I was away, think my tomato plants have died. Will keep persevering with them for a while longer!
Haven’t a clue what’s for dinner later! Will look to see if we have any mince, might do savoury mince & mash.
Must dash, take care all

Hi, it is a public holiday here today, so no work YIPPEE!!! Still woke at 6.30 but doesn't feel so bad when you know you don't have to go to work.
I am very pleased with myself as I ruthlessly sorted my wardrobe yesterday, I now have 2 black bags of clothes to take to the charity shop. Lots of things that I haven't worn for years but might have - NO MORE, there all gone now!
By the time I finished sorting my clothes the sun had gone and it looked like rain - just the excuse I needed to put off the gardening. But today I am going to start by cutting the hedge - hopefully that'll be the last cut of the year.
Then,as usual on my day off I have a list of jobs - no matter, it is a lovely day and I'm NOT AT WORK!
Have a good day everybody and Happy Birthday to PP :jDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

Morning everyone
Happy birthday PP
Well hubby will be back from work in a few minutes:j -heck he has only be on duty 24hrs... anyone would think he had been away weeks:o .... so its dippy chucky eggs n soldiers for brekkie:T ... made a fresh loaf last night, wrapped him in a towel as soon as he was cool enough and resisted it until i went to bed... i didnt dare make it earlier.... i wasnt going to torture myself!!! So far i seem to have cracked my awful relationship with food, and now eat sensibly... just didnt know if i would resist the HM bread... show me choc, takeaways, cakes etc and im not bothered...give me a whiff of HM bread and butter:EasterBun well you get the idea :rotfl:... so i resisted :j ....
Hope you have a good 1st day back at work Frogga..... keep up the good work:T ....and everyone else on the Weght loss Campaign.
Off to the Naffi later - only because hubby has to pass it to get to the golf course....Don't know if i fancy walking round the golf course...looks rather miserable out there.... no doubt hubby will say it will be much better near the GC  ....still i guess it will help burn off some more "wobble" :rotfl: ... Im determined to stick to Dbelles budget....and i dont need an awful lot - want some bread flour, ooooh and a jar of colmans english mustard...and milk...think that should be it ........ that will carry us through this week:j and next week i have seen 1 of the supermarkets doing 1 kilo mince (1/2beef, 1/2pork) for what works out at £1.70 and its great for meatballs, sausages etc , and 3 kilo frozen chicken (10)portions at £2.10...... and 1 kilo boneless pork shoulder for £1.40 - think someone may be getting plenty for the freezer
Well i had better get off
Hope you all have a great day.... hug to everyone in need-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Morning All,
Happy Birthday Pen-Pin! (oh to be 33 again  )
Looks like it's car day for everyone today! Strange how things seem to go in waves isn't it?
Didn't do much at all yesterday, in fact it was soo stunning I can hardly remember what it was! OH worked a lot of the weekend (at home). Very very dull. I wish he'd stop it but he seems to think it's the only way he can catch up with stuff. Did get him to rake lawn and he did water it in prep for September lawn seed sowing.
Was grey and overcast here but stuck some books outside the door after lunch thinking that maybe one would sell (50p a time). Sold 15 in 4 hours! Quite amazing! Every little helps. Mind you, they are all good quality paperbacks so peeps are getting a bargain! Met a few nice people just visiting the town for the day so that was fun.
Here, going to paint chimney breasts upstairs again! Needs another coat. Also we did plan the start of the downstairs re-decoration. Hopefully that won't take so long but you never know - it might take 13 different paint colours samples this time.
Off to read yesterdays thread. Have a good one folks.0 -
Good morning everyone and Happy Birthday to PenPin. Hope the hospital appointments don't spoil your day too much.
Good luck at w**k today frogga. Hope it passes quickly for you.
happy birthday to charlies mum's DS.
W**k today - on my own as boss and his wife are at their holiday home in France. (I'm sooooo jealous) Hope it's a quick week.
Need to go and raid the medicine cupboard as I feel as though I'm coming down with cystitis. Don't have any cranberry juice so hopefully I still have a sachet of the treatment stuff somewhere.
Made a roasted vegetable soup yesterday. It is absolutely delicious but because I made the recipe up, I don't think I will be able to make it exactly the same way again. I will be having some for lunch today.
Dinner for DS and DD is bacon-wrapped chicken with mash and veg. I will be having leftover curry from yesterday. Made an apple pie yesterday too - so that's pud taken care of for DS and DD too. :T
Have a marvellous Monday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."
