Oh no, I am upset about Olddog - and I never even knew him (think it was a him?). Lots of love Jazee.
Tired. The kitchen floor is filthy but think it will have to wait until tomorrow. DH is on with the slow process of redecorating our bedroom and I have just discovered the curtain pole and curtains are laid across our bed. I could get very grumpy.
See you all tomorrow x0 -
Jazee sorry to hear that, bravely done and you know you provided the best of care in these last months.
- holiday paid for

Quick update - if it's gone, it's done.
This week I must:
- finish the report
- send some emails / make phonecalls / write a couple of proper letters
- get my DBS forms checked
- do my tax return
Tomorrow I must
- write and post a card
- phone my SiL
- phone a friend
- weigh in at SW
- drop off DH's suit at dry cleaner's
- do WMx1, dry x2 (hopefully outside)
- prepare for my evening course (Tuesday not Wednesday for this week only)
- try to finish wrting my report
- take freezer/fridge inventory
- send DH to afternoon craft group so that I can get a bit of peace
- take DH to model railway club because he's not allowed to drive atm
- go from there to my course
- pick DH up on the way home0 -
Hi All
Flying is trickier at the moment. My OH had been able to get home at 6.30 the last few weeks as he was based in an office closer to home. But now its back to 7pm again I am struggling to get the kids through dinner and to bed and fit in anything other than daillies.
Plus we've had ill health in the family with OHs mum in hospital. So we shall see how realistic it is for me to try and do housework every day on top of everything else. This thread is great for me though as I love seeing what I can fit in from the lists and it keeps cleaning top of mind too.

Evening all
Pigpen - Please be careful! Healing vibes heading your way by the truck load.
Dancemum - I remember going to stay with ex when he was a student in student housing. Having never been to a proper student house (I'd only visited friends in halls of residence) I thought nothing of sitting on the floor in the livingroom but I promptly got back up due to the greasy-ick on the carpet. I can still feel it now 17 years later _pale_ On the plus side he did insist I used the bathroom used by the only female in the house which she kept spotless :rotfl: Not sure whether it was the fact there were 3 blokes in the house who used the downstairs toilet, or the fact there was literally a plant growing in there! The understairs shower which opened into the kitchen wasn't much better _pale_
Jazee - Huge hugs
Pet shop done, plus a few other errands on route to Mr A which is also done (but I'll have to go back for more fresh salad later in the week) and a very excited dog when we got home. I think he could smell his new toy ready for tomorrow.
I've not long put the WM on as I realised DD doesn't have a towel for a shower in the morning. She was too tired tonight. I suspect I'll feel the same. So while that does its thing, I'm going to do some more washing up after preparing Zacks 2 k0ngs. I'll make them up then freeze them overnightThen I'm going to do quieter jobs in the kitchen. Obviously I can't go vacuuming at this time of night.

Morning all.
Thanks for all your hugs re OldDog. I think it was how quickly she went at the end that has shocked me. The day started as normal, her favourite dog treat at lunchtime, a couple of stumbles and then her brain just stopped working and she was gone in less than two hours. I have to remember that I was so lucky that I had more than 16 years with her and of course, I still have LittleyDog to look after.
Piggers - how exciting to register the birth today
Valli - I'm glad your cat keeps bringing mice in, because its the only thing that's put a smile on my face this morning.
So I'm not sure if I can face a whole day at the paid stuff today so may just do the urgent stuff, cancel my calls and take LittleyDog off for a long walk.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0
