Edit: I've just seen that you're paying £41 a month to Virgin for BB, you need to decide which is most important to you, fast internet or a full TV package.
2nd Edit (lol): actually I think you get TV from Virgin too?
Yes, with Internet is a must - kids doing their homework and most things are online. Sky TV is much better than VM.
I remember reading a post on this thread a person was paying £13 pm, but I guess that deal was through 'winback'.
Plus I wanted a good deal through the xmas holidays for kids!
Colin_Maybe - thanks anyway.0 -

I was paying £14/month(reduced to zero for most of the year because of £100 credit, for Boxed Sets and Cinema and that has so spoiled me that anything now looks expensive, so I'll stay away this time. (current offer 30% off after a 50% offer at cancellation).0 -
Thank you very much for these details.
Did it say if the is a discounted price for multiroom?0 -
I pay £25 per month for unlimited fibre and pay as you go talk with talk line rental.
I couldn’t get the guy to budge anymore than that. I got £15 credit as well..0 -
I called up yesterday to see if I can downgrade my legacy sky q silver package bundle as we hardly use sky anymore and was given various options such as cancelling the 2nd box which I could not do as my wife would never forgive me.
So off they went and said if I transferred my legacy package which is no longer sold to their new bundle I can keep everything the same and it knocks £5 off the bill and I get to keep my 20% discount so even though the saving is small it all adds up.
Then in Janurary they are going to announce new packages I am led to believe so maybe able to tailor things more to my liking and to knock off even more money off the bill.
For reference my bill was £56 a month then down to £47.20 a month and now it's £42.20 a month for the entire package minus sky sports and cinema and with a sky q box and sky q mini box.
This will be until Oct 18 when I can renew and hopefully get an even better deal.0 -
Sky have just announced new packages. I would be surprised if they changed them again in January.0

That did throw me perhaps the sky rep meant from Jan I can change to the new packages and got a little bit muddled up!0
-
Existing customers will be able to switch to them at the end of January.0

Thanks for that info at least that clarifies what the sky rep meant and this should mean I can bring the package down to £36 from the end of Jan.0

It apppears Sky are sending out a new offer in the post (maybe to everyone who doesn’t have Sky Sports or perhaps used to have it) for all 8 sports channels for £15 per month for 3 years with no contract. So 45% off (ish) for 3 years and you can stop it anytime. I guess if prices gradually increase from £27.50 to £30+ then it would become a 50+% saving. Not sure how that will compare to the new packages though or if you can still have a discount on the rest of your package with it.0
