Virgin Media retention deals (post your haggling successes)

Signed up as a new customer in the end. Even managed to get them to port over the old landline number. 

After cancelling the o2 SIM that's part of the bundle, I will have Mixit TV, landline, 350 broadband for £17.50 a month for 18 months.

Had a call back from retentions after I decided to cancel this offer as it meant we couldn't watch films in another room

So accepted the Ultimate Volt Bundle for £52 per month 

I just accepted £64 for the above without Netflix but with 600mb broadband.

That is an exceptional deal. I'm very happy with £64, I didn't have much to bargain with because I am early into broadband contract, but still saving a lot switching from Sky TV. Glad now my broadband and TV are tied together.

Yes I cancelled the original offer retentions made after 24 hours as realised because I was cancelling all my now TV subscriptions I wouldn't be able to watch in other rooms. I did ask if the could include an extra box for the £59 but the said no so I cancelled. Retentions then called again the next day offering me this even better package

I have Volt 500mb BB, anytime telephone with 1000 International mins (multitalk 1000) for £44pm.

I'm dropping to basic weekend phone and increasing to Volt 1GB broadband, but the cheapest I've been offered is £43pm.

They said adding TV to make it into the above package was more expensive...

Have you put notice in to cancel? I got this after I cancelled via outbound retentions.
