Hi all, can I get your thoughts on an offer please:
Broadband 125
Phone Weekend's (not used)
1x Wifi pod (used)
Stream TV (used)
£30 per month.
Current deal ending was the same but with anytime calls which I no longer need, and didn't have a price rise applied in April.
Have I been offered a reasonable deal?0 -

Just put in my cancellation. Was paying £20 for 250 which would be going up to £43.Cancellations couldn’t offer anything below £35 so cancelled.Hopefully I get a call back as VM are the only company that offer decent speeds in the area.Sigless0

Well that was painless. retentions just called. Accepted £20 for 350mb. £1 less than I was paying for 250mb so very happy.

Helping my sister try and get a good deal.
She was paying £13.83 for M125 broadband only, but this promotion expires mid August so given notice to cancel.
The best they could offer at the time of cancellation was £17 for M50 or £17 + £5 with a sim for M125.
Anyone any idea what deal she is likely to be offered on a call back and when they normally call back after putting in the notice for cancellation ?
Thanks in advance0 -
They don’t have to call back..but they are likely too within 24-48 hours normally.. make sure settings in your virgin account are set so marketing preferences say they can contact youBigBlueSky said:Helping my sister try and get a good deal.

Very happy with the above especially as I cancelled FOC mid contract due to moving me to VOIP.0 -
Just gave my notice after over an hour on the phone with inbound retentions telling me they can’t get a deal lower than £85 for;
M350
Phone
Sky Sports + HD
which I’m currently paying £69 for. Hoping to get a good offer as they’re the only option for a live (non streaming) tv provider.0 -
That’s £5 lower than they offered my dad this morning, so you’re ahead already 😂 let us know how you get onRekyht said:Just gave my notice after over an hour on the phone with inbound retentions telling me they can’t get a deal lower than £85 for;

They just phoned and offered me everything I had for £66.12 - honestly felt I could have negotiated them down more, but that's less than I was paying and sorts me for another 18 months so I happily agreed.
Ridiculous how easy it is really!1
