- 250MB + Weekend calls - £20/m
- 350MB + Weekend calls - £20/m
- 500MB + Weekend call - £26/m
I don't need a tv package and am thinking the 350MB package for £20/m sounds good, as it's £1/m more than my current package (250MB (M125 doubled by Volt) + weekend calls; £19/m) but an extra 100MB speed. Only keeping the landline for emergency use, but its not used otherwise.
Would be good to hear if anyone has been offered anything similar or better- 250MB + Weekend calls - £20/m
- 350MB + Weekend calls - £20/m

smipsy said:I'm on M250 broadband only (£28pm) and I cancelled on 19th of April. I couldn't do it online, the page had issues, so I was directed to WhatsApp. Due to price increases, I could cancel without fees before 21st of April.
I was told best deals come from retentions, so I should cancel and wait for their call-back. I went on WhatsApp to cancel and the agent there offered me £21pm until the end of my contract, which would be Nov, 23. I said no and put my cancellation through.
The next day I get a call from retentions, and best they could offer was £25 for a new 18 month contract. That was it, no other deals or options. I said no and that was the end of it.
Did anyone ever encounter this or is this something new? The WhatsApp offer was actually better than retentions, and retentions didn't really have any good deals.
Is it safe to say retentions are not going to be calling back and it's time to move elsewhere? Or did anyone ever have second calls from retentions which could offer better deals?
Thanks y'all0 -
3 days from disconnection.
I phoned today and they said after you initiate disconnection you lose your previous price so now and quoting me £51, for 18 months for something i was paying £27 for upto the £7 increase.
Retentions called twice the last which was 2 weeks ago but it got disconnected after 2 seconds of answering. Dont want to lose oyr phone number as we have had it for 25 years nearly.0 -
