MTG I'm great thanks. I have one more payment to my parents of £285 and then my £6500 debt to them is paid.
I'm trying not to think about my pending kitchen debt which will begin in August, but I'm in a much better place financially. Other than my car loan and mortgage I have no other debt, I have some savings and feel much more in control because of YNAB.
We've just had 2 great days in London all budgeted and paid for, my only expense was tube fair and and I paid for a meal.
I'm currently writing reports (9 out of 30 done so far), going to the gym and watching what I'm eating as still doing weight watchers. Still waiting for a hospital appointment for my hysterectomy which is hanging over me like a cloud but other than that life is good!0 -
All sounding good and very organised for you Louby :T
Fingers crossed you get the appointment through soon xxMummytogirls x0 -

All go here! Plasterer came to plaster our downstairs shower room which is now going to be the laundry room. OH has been painting in there and we have a piece of lino which will go in there, just needs to be cut and glued down.
The plumber is coming on Saturday to put a smaller sink in there, plumb the washer in and put us an outside tap. Not sure how much that will be. then we can put the washer and dryer in there, I need to get a new mirror, a towel and toilet roll storage holder and maybe a couple of pictures then that room will be done!
I also had a phone call yesterday telling me my hysterectomy will be done next Tuesday!!!! It was a shock, even though I've been waiting since February. So one day of school and then that's it until September.
I've been busy printing off planning and sorting resources for my supply. I've done 10 reports, they have to be handed in at the beginning of July so am going to try and do them over the weekend - but 20 reports in 2/3 days is a big job.0 -
Wow...that's not a lot of notice but good that you have your appointment. Have I remembered correctly that you have a new Head in September? At least you'll through the op and recovered in time to be back for the start of the new Academic year and new Head.
Thinking of you with the 20 reports before Monday.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Honeysuckle yes we have a new hard starting, so sadly I shall miss the last half term with my current head, she's been a fab boss and I can't imagine school without her.
Hopefully I'll be well enough to go into school on the last day to join in with the leavers assembly and say goodbye.
Yesterday I went to the hospital for my pre-assessment and then shopping to buy bits for hospital. It still hasn't sunk in really.
Reports aren't going well, I've only done 12, I just can concentrate. But, amawake early so will attempt more today!
Enjoy your Saturday everyone0 -

Summer buzz has hit London. Good luck with the reports. If it helps I am studying indoors and feeling the pain at not being out as well. xxx2017- 5 credit cards plus loan

Yes we were in London Saturday and Sunday. The HP play was brilliant. Then we spent the day in Hyde Park on Sunday with a picnic and a bottle of Prosecco. It was lovely and we both caught the sun.
We were staying in Nottinghill Hill in an Airbnb room so walked into Kensington for a meal and drinks Sunday night.
We love London. We've been to London 11 times since we met in 2014! But it's soooo expensive! So I totally get your struggles.0
