  • Ah well there you go. I didn't know that. Nonetheless, fantastic!!

I too am office based. I've found M&S stuff is affordable and lasts. Managed to even get a few things in their sales too.

Lol Speky you're showing your age. M & S and 17 year olds don't go together. He's had a few things from Next. He's over 6 foot and so skinny, he likes their skinny trousers! They wash well and aren't silly money!
  • Great news about your son!! I also never knew that apprenticeships could be other things other than a trade, learn something new every day x
    Starting debt £18,675.63
    Current debt: £5,000 (16/05/18)

The government give money to lots of large companies now (apprenticeship levy) to employ 16 - 19 yr olds through apprenticeships.

You can literally do an apprenticeship in anything. They encourage you to find your own apprenticeship too, someone that will employ you and then the company can apply for the £££ towards it. It's a good way of earning whilst you're working and getting some experience.

In other news.... sold my 10 year old tumble dryer (hardly used) for £10 on my local Facebook selling site. I had about 6 people after it. It went within 60 seconds of me placing the ad!

Joined WW (found a cheap code) as I just can't seem to shift this 10lb. I have loads of lovely clothes that are too tight and I certainly don't want to buy anymore.

Washer is on and ready to peg out in 5 minutes. OH is making roast chicken for lunch. May go out for a walk later and then it's Line of Duty!!!!

Debt to my parents now stands at £535. 2 more payments and it's done.

12 NSD in April. Not brilliant. Going to try for 15 next month.

Good luck at WW! My mum's just joined SW for similar reasons.

A month now. I'm sure you'll smash the NSD's. Good luck. And well done on the payments to the Bank of Parents.

Great day today. Fab Zumba class ( I love Zumba) and healthy food choices.

Walk with my lovely OH, only round the block but it made me rack up 13,000 Fitbit steps. Now relaxed and watching TV.

And we've only got a 4 day working week!
