diluvsdiscounts wrote: »Good morning, I had a hd on Saturday night and included in it were 10 of dh Nivea sensitive shaving gels. They subbed 9 of them for fusion and gillette which i declined because he only likes nivea. I have checked my credit card bill and i have only received a refund for 3. So im down by £12! I dont want to draw unnecessary attention to my account though so what shall I do contact them or take the hit. I reordered them again for last night, before I realised the mistake, same driver who said, oh they've subbed them for the sensitive gel, I prefer gel blah blah blah so because they were nivea I said that was fine and accepted them, when I unpacked them in the house they were foam. I will swap them in store but I don't know what to do about the £12 refund I have a feeling I should just do nothing but how annoying is it when that happens.
I had similar last week- I got subbed sharpies on HD, which I didn't want- the driver said I would receive an email straight away, I couldn't see one. I then checked back on all the emails I had had from A since I put the order in, opened each one in turn and clicked on ....????change to order/ update on order?? when on there it said I had to claim my refund within 3 days..this was then day 4....there was a drop down box to tick I had conformation email, but that was it. £days later I emailed again and within minutes I had an email confirming my refund and that evening it was in the bank.
I had never had a refund before so I thought this was the norm that you had to do and generate it yourself.
Don't know if that's any help x0 -

Says its just for me!:DI don't think this has been posted but I'm sure it won't hurt again. I've just had an email from Cross & Blackwell offering me Fivesoupsforfree from T. It says not to pass it on but I've googled & it comes up so I'd think it'd work for all? I'm sure some of you would know. The t&c's need reading but fairly straightforward.

There was a "how its made" type of programme from the Crosse and Blackwell factory a while back which was very impressive as to the lengths they go to to ensure quality control and flavour etc so that changed our minds about canned soup.
Especially when we had the lovely 50p MOCs from Mr !!!!!! magazine last year
Soup and Aldi or Morrisons part bake rolls and butter - best winter lunch ever :T
I think I saw that too...and actually I believe they ended by saying that there was no difference nutrition wise between canned and some of the so called nutrition labelled chiller soups....its purely a subjective thing that people "prefer " fresh.
My dislike I think goes way back to the days when soup was in tins and was tomato and was served as a ritual at my grans house as a starter before sunday lunch when she wanted to be poshfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

canned tomato soup is the very very worst.
My m-I-l always had it before Christmas dinner - again because it was persevered to be very posh -mainly why I hate it, the awful Christmas dinners I was forced to endure.
- m-I-l had great expectations of grandeur with her tomato soup.
- like something out of Mills and Boon, very humble origins, back to backs in some coal mining town in the North east but snared and married the landed gentry, a Cheshire farmer :rotfl:
Times were different then ...
I got quite a few tomato tins before Christmas with the MOCs so gradually it is all going into the food banks ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
