annoyed with myself for not checking shopimum before we went out - but I am sure I checked it early this morning and saw nothing new

2 Free bottles of ginger beer - diet and full fat - I was in Morribobs this afternoon and bought the own brand ginger beer

OH well .... - I've got to do 16 swipes on both of the nectar cards so at least that's 2 swipes ...

Even more annoyed now with shopimum - another offer they seem to have closed early - this morning showing as valid for only 55 mins - I wish I'd screen shot yesterday but I think it said 5 days
This was the main reason for the sainsbobs trip today apart from the recycling ...

The response I got from Shopimum - if anyone else feels like having a moan a them via FB, do so

"Hello, All offers available on Shopmium may shut off for two reasons: - Shut off date mentioned in the offer is reached - The "number of offers" available is met. It refers to the maximum number of offers consumers can take advantage of, which is previously established by the partner brand. Therefore, the shut of date displayed is the latest date consumers may request their cashback. However, there may be some cases where the maximum "number of offers" pre-agreed with the partner brand is reached and the offer is terminated in accordance with our Terms of Use. For this reason, we would recommend you to check that the offer is still live before your purchase by refreshing the offers page on the app, and then submit your cashback request on that same day :-) Have a great day! The Shopmium Team https://www.shopmium.com/uk"

I don't think this has been posted but I'm sure it won't hurt again. I've just had an email from Cross & Blackwell offering me Fivesoupsforfree from T. It says not to pass it on but I've googled & it comes up so I'd think it'd work for all? I'm sure some of you would know. The t&c's need reading but fairly straightforward.

Only got a few minutes of internet while I'm on a break. Are all Heinz soups in the offer likely to work. Or is a trigger needed. I finish at 3pm and could go straight to a different asda. Tia.

can I state the obvious without sounding too picky...?
Annie....it's on the post above yours......sorry smilies not working for me else I would have inserted a big grin.

Perhaps someone could pop over to the try me free board and post it for them there....it always seems we steal the stuff from them so it would be nice to give something back if it was discovered here first.

No trigger. I'm guessing any that are in the W and A 5 for £3. (MSM shows 22 in A and 19 in W.) But not sure. I just tested those Brummie had tried yesterday. Thanks OP. Can try a few different ones at lunch if I get chance. Mine is only a small shop with limited stock. Any in particular you would like me to try Zippy?

Just seen this on this weeks MSE weekly newsletter - it does not require a switch so it might be less scary for anyone who is new to the game.

Its useful to have the £1500 just sitting in it - you might have ISA money earning a pitiful 0.5% or a monthly savings account or a bond reaching its anniversary so a little lump sum needs a home to stop you spending it :D.

You need to go paperless and register for internet banking - make yourself a To Do list and do all of the steps at once.

You need to set up 2 monthly direct debits - I've got Mr !!!!!! savers for this purpose or for example it could be a couple of £1 charity donations.

It needs £500 to go in monthly but you could put it in and take it out straight away - eg set up standing orders so you don't forget.

The 20 debit card payments a month is a new thing - it used to be £100 a month using the contactless card so that was 2 or 3 big shops at Aldi and the odds and sods from Morrisons, Tesco and Home Bargains.
You might need a reminder excel chart for this.

So there is a big of setting up work to be done but then that's about it.

•Bank SwitchNew. TSB 3% interest and up to £10/mth cashback. New TSB Classic Plus* customers get the following:

    1) 3% AER variable interest on up to £1,500. If you go paperless, register for internet banking (& log in at least annually) and pay in £500/mth - if you want you can then withdraw the £500 immediately.
    2) Up to £10/mth cashback. Register for internet banking and until June 2018 it pays £5/mth cashback as long as you've 2+ monthly direct debits paying out plus a further £5/mth when you make 20 debit card payments per calendar month.

•How to use it to make £160 free cash (on top of the interest). If you want a new bank, the free cash deals below can pay more. Yet where we really like this TSB deal is if you want an additional account - for example, just for spending to help you budget (one of the perks comes from 20 monthly debit card spends). Just ensure you've 2 direct debits going (to 2 different recipients) from it, eg, to 2 charities or to pay specific bills. Assuming you do it ASAP and get the full £10/mth until June 2018, that's £160 extra.

Unless someone has a store that is still stocking the famous cheese packs and then you would only need a couple of fillers ...

There was a "how its made" type of programme from the Crosse and Blackwell factory a while back which was very impressive as to the lengths they go to to ensure quality control and flavour etc so that changed our minds about canned soup.
Especially when we had the lovely 50p MOCs from Mr !!!!!! magazine last year
Soup and Aldi or Morrisons part bake rolls and butter - best winter lunch ever :T
