I find the guys at Sky are more pleasant when I ring. If I get nowhere I put phone down and ring back and normally get what I ask for :money:

I rang them again on the off chance, best they could do was £5 off my bb for 12 months. Give up lol Think I'll move along to BT x

hi all, back from the football, my poor feet are like ice cubes!!

Quick Q - I am going to change my BB and Phone line from Sky to BT, I've found a plan suitable and will save me £15 a month and moneyback on Q. Can I keep my landline no.? I rang sky to see if I could get any sort of offer and the woman was rude and unhelpful and it was a big fat no lol, told me offers were for tv customers only. Might be worth the change as I have a really old internet which at best is between 4-6 mbps or whatever the letters are

You should be able to keep the number, double check by calling BT and ask what you should do, they might even do it all for you.

Can't guarantee you will get a better speed though, it is the same line and same equipment in exchange unless you go fibre.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

I am with Zen internet...If you go on to their website you can put your telephone number in to check the internet speed...Fibre is by far the best service you will get for internet.....I know that it is slightly more expensive...

I negotiated the other day with sky and the online chat facility and I got £15 off for 10 months so £35 instead of £50 Thank you Thomas lol

re Sainsbobs, I did 2 shops earlier in the week and put 200 points in each card. After that the ss till would not accept any so I had to go to Cs to get another 2 put on. This could be a very long job.
I put all 11 of mine on at CS last week no probs, the SA thought I'd spent more than £100! :rotfl:

    Spent £42 inc. petrol :D
