Relevant to both these posts, dare I ask what state men's unmentionables are in when they are disposed of :eek::eek:

hi all, back from the football, my poor feet are like ice cubes!!

Quick Q - I am going to change my BB and Phone line from Sky to BT, I've found a plan suitable and will save me £15 a month and moneyback on Q. Can I keep my landline no.? I rang sky to see if I could get any sort of offer and the woman was rude and unhelpful and it was a big fat no lol, told me offers were for tv customers only. Might be worth the change as I have a really old internet which at best is between 4-6 mbps or whatever the letters are

    Hi SS

Hope you had a good day at the footie and team won.....:D

If you have old internet and an old router...It would definitely be worth while upgrading the router.....But, If you are changing, the new provider should give you a new router.....Also, make sure you don't have any electrical equipment/phones near the router as this can have affect on download speeds around the house....

I am sure your number will follow over to the new provider......This is normally the case

Nellie fetched me two of her freddo s today:D and she got me a large tub of the Vanish that was 50p the other day. Thank you Nellie :)

No problem, you are most welcome :D Had a nice morning at the cinema and KFC :) Went to T's after I left you and for once I got some decent reductions. Flowers and strawberries, raspberries and cherries for 30p each :)

There are some really good BT deals at the moment with cashback and £150 gift card - £29.99 Unlimited infinity 1 fibre includes £110 cashback and £150 gift card incentive. Ends tomorrow if I read it correctly.

    £29.99 x 12 = £359.88 + £58.99 set up = £419.87
    - £260 cashback/gift card
    = £159.87 /12 = £13.32 per month

There may be other deals around, this seems reasonable.

For Sky, Retentions deals at the moment seem to work out around £20 whichever way they do it - line rental free plus £20 internet, £10 line rental and £10 internet. It is worth looking around at rentions deals - see this HUKD thread for ideas about what is possible:
