    I loved the short gym skirts, my first really rebellious streak was when I swopped the large navy knickers for something significant smaller....... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    In my first year at senior school we had to kneel down so the form mistress could check that our skirts touched the floor!!:eek:
    In the 3rd year we had crimpalene (sp?) summer dresses and corduroy berets in stead of straw hats... we thought we were the bee's knees!

    Did we also have tops that had eyelets on front near top and laces threaded through I seem to recall having some gawdy coloured ones. ?
