I remember coming home from school, I must have been 6 or 7, and Mam wasn't there. My much older cousin was there to look after us. This was so unusual as Mam was aaaaaalways there (she didn't work). When I asked cousin 'where's Mam?' she said 'she's run off with the milkman' and I cried as I believed her
Mam was actually ill, and at hospital
Eek this reminds me of once when at Grammar School, probably year 3, so I was 13, and one girl fell from the climbing bars on wall and broke her arm, with bone sticking out. Teacher told me to run the tell teachers room to get help and ambulance. Gym was at one end of school, the furthest away from teachers room. So I had to run through the corridors, into main building, up the stairs and knock on their door, then run back - all in my PE vest and navy knickers  I was so embarrassed
If my mum got fed up of us all she wold go right im going and not coming back:rotfl: get her handbag and go round her friends round the corner:o
So then we would go to dad where is mum? he would say gone to see a man about a dog:rotfl:Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
3Dogs, you've really got me thinking since you mentioned paper knickers!!
Yes, you had to have those, a 'Loveable' bra, 'Aristoc' tights -either Brandysnap or American Tan, worn with a suede mini-skirt, a maxi coat, jockey cap and vinyl boots:cool::cool: all damned uncomfortable!
a 'Loveable' bra, YES
'Aristoc' tights -either Brandysnap or American Tan, YES. By the way, I worked at Northumberland St Woolworths hosiery and haberdashery counter for Saturday job
worn with a suede mini-skirt, oh YES and I remember that it was a 26 inch waist - wouldn't go round my thigh now :rotfl:
a maxi coat, YES I had one maxi coat that got worn at bottom with flapping about onto legs as I was walking, so I took it up and it became a midi coat
jockey cap Nope, didn't have one of those
vinyl boots:cool::cool: Oh YES including those that the shoe part and leg part were separate so you could wear either way, as shoes or boots - white vinyl of course
You MUST be about the same age as me pippo - I'm 64 in JulyMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Awe Noela that fetched tear to my eye.
Chloe my Irish Terrier never played.
Poppy loves playing and running around the house like a loon
I also get disturbed every night could be anytime but only once.
If I pretend to be asleep I got to get up eventually.
Poppy throws herself into my back glad I am under duvet jumps off bed goes to door then keeps repeating it til I get up she then goes out and decides after toilet she will have a run around garden then when I go out she will run in and straight back upstairs to bed.
If I ignore Noela she just keeps barking but if I ignore Berry, he pulls at the duvet so we end up having a tug of war :rotfl: I had that this morning, after Noela disturbing me till about 4, Berry started at 6 lol. I got about 4 hours last night z z z z z zMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
