That's why I decanted my Super Yummy - DH and DDs would have had a field day otherwise! :rotfl::rotfl:

Debating whether to try the baby milk

I don't suppose I would buy it but it's got extra vitamins in it etc . Also could be used in rice puddings hot chocolate . I don't like milk much but this to me tastes better and it's not as though it's breast milk is it.

Looking at this I think the apg system is holding information from an earlier multibuy.

The mcoys on a.com are showing as £1.50 each and are 5 pack. The ridge cut are showing on your shop yesterday at £1.45 and 6 pack. The classics glitched yesterday because the steak one didn't show on the apg.

They are messing about with us.

The steak ones must have gone oos at a different time to the classic ones.

  • I need to buy a nice bottle of gin as a gift so if we have any gin drinkers with some good recommendations I would be greatful :)
I was going to say tanqueray but I see you're spending more than that. You could always buy some nice gin glasses to go withbit.

I'm sorry, it might just be me but I think you have to ask yourself if some things are a step too far

Well I'd rather try a carton of that and it is only milk after all than alcohol.

Its probably very similar to the milk with added protein and vitamins, just the packaging that's different.
  • Just a quick update for COS. Thins comparing to Sada at T. Beware of mixing with tex/mex

Snap...I have to say I thought that the daffodils were lovely too...they were always my mums favourite flowers and I'm just a little sad that perhaps she's no longer around for us to buy her a few of these to go in the garden outside her room.
For the last year of her life she lived in a nursing home but had lovely patio doors from her room to a small paved area with pots and a couple of chairs...she was a heavy smoker and it meant that she could still indulge in her beloved pastime without flouting too many rules.
Why do I think she would have loved the flowers...yes because they were daffodils, but they would have made a damn good ashtray too...

its almost 4 years to the day that she passed away and its strange how even now I still look at things and almost buy them in some cases because they would be useful to her.....so I look at the marie curie daffodils and I know that it's a cancer charity and all that but it raised a smile this morning when I though just how much my mum would have loved them and made what she considered such a good use of them!...albeit inappropriately.

That's such a lovely memory, thank you for sharing it. I'd be tempted to put 1 or even more in my own garden to keep the memory alive x

Makes me smile when I see people are getting low on deodrant.
9 years ago when I was diagnosed with breast ca and was about to undergo radiotherapy, I was told I cannot use "normal" deodrant but can use a crystal deodrant, which is basically rock salt. I bought one off ebay and it arrived with a broken cap so emailed the seller and they sent me another one. I carried on using the one with the broken cap as the actual crystal salt bit was ok. Carried on using it after treatment finished as it was doing the job of keeping odour at bay ok. Only just started using the 2nd one as it lasted so well. I use it night an morning and it works so well. :)

Seriously, it lasted 9 years  I think I shall have to look into that!

Well that was an interesting phone call...from the Talk Talk technical centre...apparently my router has been sending them signals ....blah,blah,blah....

...it further transpires that the caller thinks I am a ******* ***** because I won't enter into the game and allow him to fix my computer....
so I name and shame the number they dialled from...
    01993 885522.
me thinks he's not really from Talk Talk but beware.....

Thank you, another one to look forward to, I love winding them up if I have time :D
