Hi LittleOwl, welcome to the Hotel California. Please do not go back into lurkdom.
The glitches are discussed in private because we know that the stores have people looking on here (and other places) to see if any glitches are happening, therefore if the glitches are not mentioned in the open then they will not be stopped early (in theory anyway).
We do not want to put newbies off, the more the merrier, just be prepared to put up with the total lack of sanity at times
Should that not be..lack of sanity totally all the time?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

and sometimes a total lack of sanitary as well if you get a rat living in your porch and feasting on your apple store :rotfl:

I hope you will keep posting LittleOwl ......it happens quite often that people post only a few times and disappear....hope you will stick around:)
I'm guilty of this, sorry! I don't post often because I don't feel I have anything to add, but I do follow you all and rejoice in your wonderful bargains.
ILTS - I have a spare SW book if it would help you. I have rejoined a couple of times as I know it works but sometimes lack the discipline to follow through. This time I will do itPlease let me know if you would like me to mail it to you.
Where are my manners? Good morning All0 -

But you do have something to add, if only saying you don't have anything to add :rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Got back yesterday from Berwick I can thoroughly recommend the YHA there at £13 night you can't go wrong :money: excellent facilities plus I had the whole room to myself:D TBH there is not many YHA I wouldn't recommend.
Almost did a TM when I was there, looked out from the lounge to see an owl on the roof opposite, but looked again and realised it was a decoy :rotfl::rotfl:
:rotfl:
YHA is much underrated, the hostels now are fabulous and the family rooms are perfect if you have a "non standard" family - we used them a lot when ours were little - I would have been worried about the chaos my gang would have caused in a hotel and we would have needed 2 rooms but in hostels we got 6 bed rooms so everyone was together and no worries about a child being loud or having a wild half an hour
You can get £1 YHA membership if you have an under 26 railpass - maybe its the same for other rail passes?
Then you get an automatic £3 reduction on room rates plus masses of other discounts.
There is a Jan sale on at the mo and on the header page is a code for 25% off bookings

New. Go wallet-free at tesco (now uk-wide), bag 500 'free' clubcard points
the payqwiq* app (available on android and ios) lets you store your credit or debit card and clubcard details, then quickly pay for shopping and automatically collect clubcard points at tesco by scanning the barcode in the app. It was only available in certain areas, but has now been rolled out to all tesco's uk stores and petrol stations.
As a bonus, you can currently get an extra 50 clubcard points each of the first 10 times you use the app between mon 23 jan and sun 7 may. If you get the full 500 bonus points, that's equivalent to a fiver to spend in store or up to £20 via clubcard boost.
This offer is open to newbies and many existing payqwiq users – even if you've previously got bonus points via the app. Here's how to check if you're eligible for the offer:
Never downloaded the app before? You're eligible.
Used it fewer than five times? You're eligible.
Used it five times or more? You're only eligible if you haven't used it at all since 19 december 2016.0 -

Same here but doesn't stop me posting random bits (some would say rubbish) but it's what makes the thread tick, people, random comments etc. The thread is going through a very quiet phase, lack of glitches, but we've had a drought of glitches before but it has never been this quiet. This thread needs some people to come out of lurkdomSomething unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
