Thank you, what I meant was there is no petrol station near me.
I know, I had read it wrong, I have edited my post.
Think of it as getting 10% off everything, so if it is not worth buying there for 10% off, then no, not really worth it in my opinion.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Dunno if people had seen this and it was old news or not, from MSE...
New. Go wallet-free at Tesco (now UK-wide), bag 500 'free' Clubcard points
The PayQwiq* app (available on Android and iOS) lets you store your credit or debit card and Clubcard details, then quickly pay for shopping and automatically collect Clubcard points at Tesco by scanning the barcode in the app. It was only available in certain areas, but has now been rolled out to all Tesco's UK stores and petrol stations.
As a bonus, you can currently get an extra 50 Clubcard points each of the first 10 times you use the app between Mon 23 Jan and Sun 7 May. If you get the full 500 bonus points, that's equivalent to a fiver to spend in store or up to £20 via Clubcard Boost.
This offer is open to newbies and many existing PayQwiq users – even if you've previously got bonus points via the app. Here's how to check if you're eligible for the offer:
Never downloaded the app before? You're eligible.
Used it fewer than five times? You're eligible.
Used it five times or more? You're only eligible if you haven't used it AT ALL since 19 December 2016.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

the Elite thread is open to all walks of life and this includes persons who represent the HQ of various companies - basically they are on a spying mission.
This is why you might find certain stores are usually mispelt or have nicknames. Most glitches are very short lived, often over within hours. The second that a store knows that an item is mis - scanning then it is removed from sale. So sometimes to prolong a glitch a bit longer so more people can enjoy it, we have to resort to pms
It may seem cliquey but it depends on your point of view.
As with most things in life the more you contribute in whatever shape or form, the more you gain and the newbies that pitch in, hit the ground running soon get the hang of things
But its not only about shopping, the Elite is also about the general madness of life and a lot of support is offered via pms ...
I appreciate the PM facility is a way of offering much needed support in private. What I meant by PM culture was the sharing of glitches/offers via PM only with regulars on the thread thereby excluding info with others who may be less established posters and not comfortable with the idea of asking for a PM. It just seems very noticeable recently.0 -

Was quite nervous about posting and nearly deleted my first post several times before hitting submit. Back to lurking now.0 -

Welcome to the thread.
To be fair, I have been a regular on here for a while and hadn't noticed a surge in glitches being discussed behind closed doors. I have not been involved in PMs, apart from joking about it last week. The N3ctar/V1rgin trains offer/glitch had been explained on here numerous times so I am not sure what else people needed apart from perhaps it being spelt out again. I see today a glitch has been highlighted but haven't caught up to find out more.

Thanks daveyboy.
I knew the offer had been updated but I didn't realise I could do it again :j :j
Edit: arrrggghhh. My wife's account was last used on Dec 20th

Don't go back to lurking, please stick around - the more eyes out there the more likely we are to find glitches. There has been a significant reduction and part of that is the supermarkets and other retailers are getting better at spotting/preventing them due to system changes.

Thank you for the warm welcome.
I think even an established poster asked why all the secrecy surrounding the nectar/virgin trains offer and that it all seemed a bit cloak and dagger. There seems to have been numerous requests on the thread over the past day for PMs regarding a greggs 'glitch' - info available to regulars.0 -

If I did discover a glitch I would share it with everyone on the thread.
Unfortunately I am useless at glitches - let alone finding one!
