It's actually easy to go syn free if you are in the right frame of mind and have options on hand (other than chocolate :o)

I do a lot of SW freezer friendly batch cooking and keep the fridge topped up with guilt free picky things. Eg i did a ham joint today that'll do us for a few days and egg muffins are good to make and keep in the fridge (they are allegedly freezer friendly but they taste rotten after thawing)

Mugshots are handy to have on stand by too

Bulk out your mullers with fruit to feel fuller (eg a pork chop through your toffee muller)
    EEk!!

On a serious note, nana about 100 calories, try grapes(10 cal each) satsuma(40ish) apple(50ish)

Other foods can be added to home made soups and chillies and curries and Stu's. I call them fillers, as low calorie and good for you. Mushrooms/celery/peppers/green beans/little trees(brocococolllli)/onions etc

Hello Mhoc, Rats awful things, We had them a couple of years ago they got into the loft. We found dog food up there, we don't have a dog. We didn't no where they were getting in from.We was advised by a friend to shake talc all over the floor. Next morning we could see tracks where they had been. They was coming from next door,at the time their garden was very over grown. They had a out house in which they stored dog food. Rats got in by climbing up the ivy on their house and through a hole in the facer board. Strange but true.
May help you find where they are getting in.

    Evening all. take care D:)

Good idea with the talc to see tracks . mhoc I would have been gutted to loose my apple store. I hope you get it sorted. We had a mouse in the house last week . living in a bungalow airing cupboard is near front door and a mouse had took up residence there had to rewash everything, what's worse is I always leave door open during day and oh saw it go out the cupboard and go outside and a few mins later it came back in.:o seems it was my fault :rotfl:

OMg that is awful - so you had multiple tasks - as well as rat catching you had sealing facia board, removing ivy, dealing with the neighbour and his dog food store and messy garden ...
When we had snow one year we had rats leaving prints on the lawn leading back to next door, the new neighbour still had previous neighbours chicken feed in the shed - she was horrified to realise our rat was living in her shed so she got the professionals in
Another year we seemed to have a garden full and their speciality was climbing up and helping themselves to the bird feeders ....

Our village has had numerous housing estates built - I wonder if all of these newcomers realise how lovely it is living in the country :rotfl:

Seems too be a good year for rats, Anglesey has an epedimic. A school closed and play group in village hall. Because of them , the play group through all the toys and things away it was that had. Xx

yes it was miserable seeing the destruction, we thought we had got it just right the apple storage so its back to square one this year ...

This is the other worry, having to be careful to keep back door closed at all times now until rat or several rats caught so we dont get them in the house

Well my new car tells me how many miles i have left but i have alot of running about to do this week so not sure if its going to last, i also have central locking, electric windows, cd player :rotfl::rotfl: all new to me i had wind down windows , a tape player and had to manually lock the car one door at a time:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

i make cars, dont believe it. eg my fuel light comes on with about 27 miles left. 5 miles later and it could read 17 miles left. also when it gets to the final, say 6 miles left. it will do 2 miles for every mile.
this inaccuracy is because most fuel tanks are now flat as opposed to being upright.
with all that in mind i have dove 6 miles on zero. i went to tesco at 6.05 am and kiosk was closed when it was supposed to be manned. so drove to work and back to tesco on 0.
