    I'm loving your positivity cjj:T

I've got off to a good start. Well I haven't ate any chocolate yet:rotfl::rotfl:

I kept the table set last night and we ate breakfast there this morning....it was like being in a hotel:rotfl:

Rain has stopped cycling for MrTM so the pair of us are going to prepare food this morning for next week.

Tub of pasta, potato salad and tub of salad rice for carbs

Guacomole ( I have loads of 5p avocados to use up) for snacking with crackers.

Eggs to boil, Edam to cut up, chicken to cook for protein.

If we fail to plan, we plan to fail:)

    I'm excited and 100% motivated.:)[/QUOTE
Omg you are motivated aren't you! I wish I was didcthe 5,2 thing liven up on fb? I'll go and have a look now.

    I'm crap on FB:rotfl:

I'm unsure whether joining a group will motivate me Di....

I'm pleased I'm off work today and tomorrow as I need to get my head around everything.

Dry January is fine. Nothing to prepare:) And it does make a difference to weight loss. Just decide you are going to do it and get on with it. Tell everyone you aren't drinking and hopefully peeps will be supportive. I've done it the last 2 years and one year nearly made it to March:rotfl:

I'm food planning and prepping today and tomorrow which will really help the diet. I'm starting off with fridges and freezers full of food:) My heads in the right place to do it. I need to factor in some exercise and will plan that later today too.

Struggling a bit with the food spending/ tracking/ spreadsheets...but I will leave that until tomorrow to sort out.

I hope you got it sorted. I tend to pretend to be Mum. Saves all sorts of hassle!

Thanks, Picasso7. I am Mum lol. Got it sorted. Moles will be removed on Feb 28th. but he needs to have more blood tests, booked for Thursday. His boss (the lady mare!) said that he can have time off to go but to take it as his lunch hour!

Just received my noodle update, last NYE I had set myself an unrealistic target to pay off my mortgage...I just realised I nearly did it, I was just£1,700 short......... as we have kept the build going, all bills paid, tax man paid and run the household, paid uni fees and run 3 cars I am rather pleased, and it is all down to Elite and the money saving that you have helped me achieve for which I am truly thankful x

I think its more a case of where to put it For Now because there is always a financial crisis on the horizon ...
We have been putting it off but there are some big ticket items that need addressing in 2017 - new tyres, new sofa, new oven and new mattress - it might be less painful if We try and do all of the decision making in as short a time as possible, try and get them all through in the space of a month.
plus final balances due for holidays due in March and next December.

So In reality I could be classed as a non saver until the middle of the year which could be a bit of a shock to the system, longest time without saving at least something each month ...

But you are saving, you are saving for tyres, sofa etc. x

I'm moving my tsb savings to my mortgage. I've joined mf wanabe 2017 thread. Just under £12000 to go & with new full time job it's doable (baring an emergency). I've put a brick house picture on the fridge & each brick represents £500 so I have got my coloured pens out :rotfl:. It's all about the motivation lol. Every pennies a prisoner this year which is why I was so mad about the £15 ood apg's. But I'm using that as extra motivation. Yesterday I spent afternoon sorting paper work and applying for the odd bank account with free money :) xx

I decided not to open any bank accounts, but to use all spare money to pay towards the mortgage... it was the most efficient thing for me to do x
