Ta for this, as you say I just have to accept the situation and let him get on with his life, whatever he is doing.

    Morning all

There was a lot of fireworks before and after last night, Sophie cat was freaked out and went under the bed. OH having not got up until 11 said he was falling asleep and went to bed at 12.10 despite the explosions going on outside ...

    miserable outside

    Extremely good advice.

My eldest lives in his own world... to the point that I never know where in the world he is, I just make sure I message him every day and try ringing ever couple of days but rarely get to speak to him. He has now got in the habit of messaging me on FB or WA so I wake up to something... often a picture of a plane with no explanation but often sometimes there are days that he disappears... usually into the drug triangle! :D:D:D:D

It will have a cumulative effect... so don't worry about it to much... if you need an extra period of time just add it on at the end x

Good evening, cjj I have always been the same ever since they were born I always wanted one of us fit to drive just in case, well this Christmas Day is the first one in over thirty years that we have not had to drive somewhere and as ds was coming to us we opened a bottle of perisecco a weak wine mix drink, very nice but still alcohol, so ds's car decided to have a broken fan so no demister and my dh had to strip the dash board to fix it as neither of us could drive him home, lesson learnt just stick to coke😂, hope everyone has a fantastic 2017🍾🍾

Happy New Year my lovely elite.

Aww Izzy bless you. A friend of my oh once got the awful news on NYE that his daughter had been dumped by her fianc!e (they lived together and had been together years). She was on the phone to her Mum & Dad in bits but they had both had a drink and could not get a taxi as it was NYE and all taxis booked. They couldn't go hug their daughter and he said it broke his heart :( xx

    Happy new year to all.

I am looking for a sim free smartphone for around £100, but not the G4 Play (that can be bought from John Lewis/ArgosAmazon for £99).

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Only need the phone to check Facebook, hotmail, mse and surf the net (lightly).

Thank you and have a great year, hopefully glitches aplenty to come.

Try Tesco. I got my Moto E for about £60 a year ago so it will be less now. Works well for all I need. Or CEX for secondhand mobiles.

Good morning Elite. Happy New Year!
Hoping everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so.

I have the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime, I basically use it as you want to, not sure where you can get it sim free but might be an idea to look for one on the provider you are using.

    Premium bonds.

    Every where else is rubbish

It's a big problem for me knowing where to put it.

I think its more a case of where to put it For Now because there is always a financial crisis on the horizon ...
We have been putting it off but there are some big ticket items that need addressing in 2017 - new tyres, new sofa, new oven and new mattress - it might be less painful if We try and do all of the decision making in as short a time as possible, try and get them all through in the space of a month.
plus final balances due for holidays due in March and next December.

So In reality I could be classed as a non saver until the middle of the year which could be a bit of a shock to the system, longest time without saving at least something each month ...

There was also one time when I had a rare glass of wine to celebrate that a lump I had found in my breast was not cancerous ( my Grandma died of this) .Anyway that night something bad happened to my dd and I couldn't get where I needed to be easily. Thinking about it that's why I don't drink unless I'm comfortable everyone's safe xx
