Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and have a fabulous day today.
Happy new year. I hope it is filled with good health and support. I hope we all have an amazing year of savings. Loved the quiz last night TM.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

    Good morning all

HE sounds like a fab cruise Quite right to treat yourself

DS and family are coming for dinner tonight:T Nice Sunday roast Our Asda ran out of puff pastry on Friday night :rotfl:

On the decluttering it is still a work in progress but the best for me is to only buy something if it gives you joy

I am about to go and clear paperwork as the house is all tidy etc

Can I also offer THANKS to all the posters but special ones to izzeyb for letting us know what is out there plus chrisv and TM for the maths Sorry if I missed anyone

I joined the decluttering thread last year but, after reading Kon Mari, my target of '2016 items in 2016' was done by March! That goes to show how much useless stuff you can accumulate. I find I definitely think twice about purchases now - only if it brings me joy does it deserve room in my house. :D

yes January 4th is D day -I did a sepearte post a few days ago, search under TSB - not that its much help with £675 a month unless you can clone yourself and get another job.

me personally I would set a more attainable date than 3 years time :)

I'm moving my tsb savings to my mortgage. I've joined mf wanabe 2017 thread. Just under £12000 to go & with new full time job it's doable (baring an emergency). I've put a brick house picture on the fridge & each brick represents £500 so I have got my coloured pens out :rotfl:. It's all about the motivation lol. Every pennies a prisoner this year which is why I was so mad about the £15 ood apg's. But I'm using that as extra motivation. Yesterday I spent afternoon sorting paper work and applying for the odd bank account with free money :) xx
