Happy New Year Everyone,
Hope you all had a nice Christmas and New Years Eve. I am Happy_Dad today as I'm feeling quite content and optimistic for the year ahead.
2016 was a good year financially for me. I am now debt free (by that I mean my savings are greater than my debt for the first time in a while). This doesn't include my mortgage but I'm hoping to be mortgage free in 8 years time.
I started a better paid job recently which has helped but I no longer work near Asda or Tesco so have not done much glitch shopping. I think my wife is happy with this situation as we are are making our way through my stash. I've still got plenty of Carling, cider and various beers and wine that should last me until next Christmas.
I have lots of bank accounts (8 TSB and 2 LLoyds) to either close or switch my savings out of in the next few days before the interest rate drops.
I must make a start on my self assessment soon, that could be tricky.
All the best,
Sad_Dad0 -

Morning luvlies, and a very happy new year to you all :A
Not happy with carling, unfortunately my payments have been suspended, due to 'sharing of payment details across accounts'. I don't get this as both DH and I have had the money going into the same Paypal account for the past year and never had a problem. Have they changed the rules in the past week?
I've dropped them an email as have quite a bit of money waiting to be paid outSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

That was an hour well spent:)
Boiled egg to grab when I'm starving instead of cakes and biscuits 6g protein
Pasta for work lunches with chicken
Edam cut into wedges 100 g is 25g protein...they aren't even. I put half Edam back in fridge
Guacamole....crushed avocado, lemon juice, salt, grated chilli from freezer. I added leaves from the top of celery only because I had some going floppy:rotfl: I didn't add garlic as I like to kiss people:D
