Am I right in thinking dry January doesn't start until tomorrow?
I really want to do it but we have some champagne that needs using up first. I have no resolve0 -
I bought a Cubot Note from Amazon, it's going well so far. Good sturdy phone, great camera. Mine was under £70 but Cubot do other phones up to £100. Hope you find what you're looking for xx
Yes. I would also recommend looking at the Amazon unknown brands. Check the reviews but you can buy 16gb smart phones for under 100 pounds.grocery challenge 9.86/600 -
I'm home....:j:j....The roads were quiet as expected..The main hazard was the heavy rain.....

In the mail was a cheque from the Bacofoil refund....£4:53....So it looks like they refunded the postage too...Sorry if this has already been mentioned.....But, Thank you to the OP for the tip off...I have foil that will last me probably a year.....

Happy New Year Everyone,
Hope you all had a nice Christmas and New Years Eve. I am Happy_Dad today as I'm feeling quite content and optimistic for the year ahead.
2016 was a good year financially for me. I am now debt free (by that I mean my savings are greater than my debt for the first time in a while). This doesn't include my mortgage but I'm hoping to be mortgage free in 8 years time.
I started a better paid job recently which has helped but I no longer work near Asda or Tesco so have not done much glitch shopping. I think my wife is happy with this situation as we are are making our way through my stash. I've still got plenty of Carling, cider and various beers and wine that should last me until next Christmas.
I have lots of bank accounts (8 TSB and 2 LLoyds) to either close or switch my savings out of in the next few days before the interest rate drops.
I must make a start on my self assessment soon, that could be tricky.
All the best,
Sad_Dad
