I'm the same, I thought it was because I'm not 'at home' but I've lived here in East Anglia since 1964  I'm now thinking that I don't know why I blubber when I hear it
I've got as far as 1am, so not too far to go. Please can you lot put a sock in it, just for a wee while? :rotfl: :rotfl:There's no place like home

Love your description, embarrassing that she is a female.:eek::eek:
She should be ashamed of herself. The last time I worked for a government body, I am sure that there was a more generous sick entitlement in relation to elective surgery.... I would find out and quote it at her then would be tempted to go on sick for a week because of the surgery, and another 6 months because he has a horrid boss!100 -

:T:T glad you have a date, still a while though:o
Thats nice of her .........i know i work for my sister but even before when i worked for big companies i was always allowed o go to doc/hospital appointments[/QUOTE]
Thanks, bubbs. Hoping it gets pulled forward. He works for a large pension company that you probably wouldn't recognize the name of. Under its' umbrella, there are various names. DD2 works for the same company but for Aviva not the same as DS. His is the only one where they have to make up time. The other 'companies' have free time for doctor, hospital, dentist, optitian's etc appointments. They can also roll over up to 5 days holiday per year. DS can't.0 -
Not good for diets but just back from Asda. Big boxes of sports mixture are only 50p now. Got last 4 to go in pressie box. I also picked p a wrapped 511g box of Thorntons SEL reduced to clear £4 but it went through the till at £2. Went back and got the other 3 from the shelf as dates were Sept 17. Great for gifts as fully wrapped in gold paper with a bow on. Bar code is 5016346270743,0

Morning luvlies, and a very happy new year to you all :Azippydooda wrote: »Just had my last 4!pack of carling pay out. Got in asda for £3 got payout for £3.50
Bit worried it would not pay as it went expired. But all is well
Not happy with carling, unfortunately my payments have been suspended, due to 'sharing of payment details across accounts'. I don't get this as both DH and I have had the money going into the same Paypal account for the past year and never had a problem. Have they changed the rules in the past week?
I've dropped them an email as have quite a bit of money waiting to be paid out:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -

I am looking for a sim free smartphone for around £100, but not the G4 Play (that can be bought from John Lewis/ArgosAmazon for £99).
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Only need the phone to check Facebook, hotmail, mse and surf the net (lightly).
Thank you and have a great year, hopefully glitches aplenty to come.
I bought a Cubot Note from Amazon, it's going well so far. Good sturdy phone, great camera. Mine was under £70 but Cubot do other phones up to £100. Hope you find what you're looking for xxThere's no place like home
