I emailed amex yesterday asking them if they wanted the details of my missing shop small credits, or if they required me to wait the 8 weeks to see if they appear on my statement. They responded saying if I provided the transaction dates/amounts, they would add the credits to my account.....so if anyone is missing any credits I would suggest an email to them.

I messaged them the same day as I had problem shops or emails not arriving, all credits added within a few days, mostly in time for the latest bill

I'm still trying to catch up with "yesterday", which became two days ago whilst trying to catch up. I just thought I'd mention that I went out to M on Monday expecting to return with a whole load of knocked down stuff... only for me to come back with nothing:(, as none of it was any good price:rotfl:. I suppose I saved, by buying nowt at all, until just now when the prices have become a little better on some items (but others, such as Jacob's etc., still have some way to go for me) and I think I bought from nearly every M I visited - more money than sense! So, if I were giving some advice about money-saving, it would be don't visit five Ms otherwise you will end up buying from every one of them:rotfl:.
I originally wasn't going to go out on Thursday - I thought it was going to be very difficult travelling with fog and best not to go out and hearing about that terrible accident on the A40 the other day dissuaded me. However, in the event, it wasn't as foggy as I thought yesterday and my journey out was not bad. I did stores in a different direction though and wasn't going to do any dangerous route over the moorlands! I will be going out again today to do the other stores I didn't visit yesterday (or before) - as I can't be satisfied and I feel that I am incomplete until I've done every nearby store.

As to M this week, in general though, apart from the latest reductions and even some of those are not yet ones to go for, the reductions don't seem to be as good as the competitors! Kit Kat Bus in M, on Monday, was £3:eek: (if my SELs are correct) and, yesterday (Thursday), is still, apparently, allegedly, £3.
Got 40 lynx gift sets at £1.37 each this morning in T. one is easy to carry, 40 is another matter. SD selling them at £1.99

And I bet these are the ones available at M at £2! Again, M's reductions don't seem as good as elsewhere.

And this - see what I mean! - was £3.97 "RTC" (according to the label) in M on Wednesday although I am implying that it is now (as of Thursday) £3 in M due to the Quality Street 750g now showing me that price (that one now in two stores for me) as I do not have the Roses now anywhere! (They were very thin on the ground for me on Wednesday - found in just one store with only a few tins left. Store number 8:rotfl:, so would have stopped at 6 being totally unaware of them and only because store 6 (which was to have been the last of the day) gave me an issue on something totally unrelated did I bother with 7 and 8 on a route back which was a very small detour.)

I'm glad I did though - I found some Crunchie funsize knocked down Store 7 (not as good as the 43p of last year but never mind) at 69p:eek: (but that's a fairly good price and, of course, no £1 offers on any standard bars of probably lower total weight will come anywhere near...). That may be store specific - I am not mentioning where - you will either find them or not in your M(s) and may find them more expensive national RTC (if indeed they are on any such thing - I have no evidence of it - as far as I know (which is next to nothing), they are still on non-RTC £1.50 but this was Wednesday!) or maybe could find them in some M even cheaper than my 69p (I do not rule it out!).

They are so expensive in Mr A!

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda-compare-prices/Chocolate_Bags_Bars_And_Multipacks/Cadbury_Crunchie_12x175g.html

Has any got the funsize Fudge or Twix in their M at RTC pricing? If so, I have yet to find them! (Or perhaps even the Milkyway treatsize - I don't know that they ever went down to 43p last year - last I saw I think was £1 before they vanished completely on me.)

Meanwhile, the chocolate tins at £3.97 seemed a bit dear given that offers on them of 2 for £7 have been around in the past! The £3 is a little better but, still, W is clearly a lot better (on Cadbury Roses tin)! Fwiw, M is now telling me £3 on its own label M Mega Mix tin (1090g).
    bubbs wrote: »

And this, if they are the 200g ones, M is showing me £3:eek:! Unless I have got a lower price on Thursday, I don't think I have but I will need to look and see if I have!

That toothbrush is now £2 in M (as at Wednesday) but I don't know whether the APG will update as I don't know what price collections they are doing (if any) this time of the year - maybe we will see the entire M database go N/A if they don't do any?!?:think::rotfl:

M The Best Goose Fat (200g) is now 50p. According to labels in two separate stores.

I think that's the cheapest I've ever seen it!
I would say buy in M rather than try the APG, for the sake of 5p, as all my stores on Wednesday that I saw were showing old pricing including 2 for £3 and therefore it may have missed the price collection day (assuming there was one). I had suggested Avs T on standard A own label range but M's price is now better than that! I do not know whether this is an RTC in M as I have nothing that says it is. However, this is an item that I should mention.

Went to SD after work - turns out mine does not have a household department, but I bought one large Smarties tube @ 49p :D

Went to MSFood, yellow stickers everywhere in fridges, but bought 0.

Co-op bread and eggs, about 1.50.

    Tissues 1.99 the other day

    Butter Xmas Eve 1.50

    So total 6-day spend = £5.48 :money:

Not worked out how tight I am yet...

    Exactly as I thought... 50p is robbery!:rotfl:
    bubbs wrote: »

And again - I got caught out at M with 50p:eek:! However, there seems some suggestion that the T price is store specific, meaning that I could not have bought it at 13p at any store near me:cool:. I would now hope not anyway:rotfl:.

Also at 50p:rotfl::rotfl:, the Snow Bites (though they went down in weight over the years from 100g, maybe more at one point, to 90g now) and also the Winter Wonderland Choc. Bar have gone down to their 50p. Cadbury's Snowballs (113g) are now £1:eek: in M:rotfl:. Milkybar Discovery Pack 121g and Smarties Discovery Pack (I seem to have 1314g somehow - I don't think that's right - I will have to work out whether it's 131g or 314g) are each £1 in M. I think someone may have got that price or slightly better at T the other day and there was also one of the Milkybar pack (slightly damaged packaging but given what the product inside is it will be absolutely fine) found at 66p on the RTC shelf of M Preston (Riversway) earlier this week. If no-one has bought it or moved it, it should still be there (I did not buy it as no need).

The bakery section too - various packs of Shortbread Bites etc. at £1 (which is better than the apparently £1.50 of the previous day that was frankly no better than 2 for £3 offer pricing on regular non-seasonal other items throughout the year although some of them had slightly more in them than the regular non-seasonal containers) and I mentioned earlier Kipling Festive Bakewells and Frosty Fancies at 50p. M Decorate Your Own Christmas Tree Gingerbread Biscuit (252g) is now £1 (had hoped it would be 50p).

And my 13 earlier stores this week were useless:rotfl:. I now have M Walnuts in Shell (300g), which I don't think I even had before, now at £1! I think I only had the Mixed Nuts at 300g and wasn't even aware of any Walnuts at this weight. However, there is this slightly higher 300g weight available which I have knocked down in one store. (M.com is saying £2.50 on the Walnuts which is what is making me doubt it - it does not have Mixed Nuts which have been seen on RTC - however I suspect the Walnuts are national £1 RTC.) I looked earlier and :mad:couldn't see any of the 225g/300g nuts on my list at all - I suspect some of my updating earlier did not save properly:( and I've added them now - trying to reconstruct it from what I can remember as I don't know if I have the written information anymore - however I have got M Monkey Nuts (500g) at 50p several weeks before (I very much doubt anyone will have luck with that now) but obviously 500g at half the price is notionally better.

So I have all these 'new' items that I have found, but none of the Walnut Whip, Cadburys Star Fingers or Festive Friends that I tried to find:rotfl:. Or the Swizzels tub that I last saw on mbuy 2 for £5. There would be no luck with that at my nearest store - I last saw it there, only there, just before Christmas with 2 for £5 pricing that doubtless still applied then still up but the store, by then, down to only a handful of stock. I may eventually find them or I may not (figures:rotfl:). Let it Snow Candy Canes (144g), which appeared to go from 75p to £1 on Monday according to my SELs (probably erroneously), have since gone the right way - I have SELs of 50p (Wednesday and Thursday)! I also have Black Magic 443g in stock at SEL says £3:eek:!

    Nestle Black Magic Chocolate (443g)

    Store_1.15px.png
    £5.00 £1.13 / 100g
    Store_8.15px.png
    £5.00 *

Really? (£3 is "RTC" price so there seems no point trying to match T to M's price as they should not match RTCs, besides the fact that they are probably not going to have this in their use of three stores.) Actually £3 on this, in M whichever M it is actually in stock in, is not a bad price per unit for branded chocolate. And M's Chocolate Yule Log 260g seems to have gone to £1.50:eek:!:rotfl::rotfl: I've got £3 RTC showing for Jack Daniels Whiskey Fudge Tin (300g). And M Gingerbread House (it's 686g), £1.

That's enough of the 'main' ones I can see - doubtless there will be more later! And I think I have a random single Hallowe'en item as well too somewhere on Wednesday if I ever get to updating anything:rotfl: (don't hold your breath - 25p). But just to say they are still around (or one item is anyway - I'm sure one more and one more will be available in now very rare stores).

    Goodnight:wave:.

    £2 I think on this in M!

There was a report of Selection Boxes at 90p in S. As far as I know, at M, the Medium Selection Boxes (which I think are around 30g more weight than the one at S) are £1:eek::eek::eek: - that's another standard offer price that frankly we should have had before Christmas and not presented to us as an RTC - although these Selection Boxes are other items that I think five stores could all be showing me an incorrect higher price on:rotfl:. I am waiting for 50p on them - 'as far as I know' they are not there yet, but again I suspect I will keep having £1 until some OOS store, where they've been 50p for days whilst I've not visited them, suddenly drops 50p on me and then I see no more from them anywhere else after that!:rotfl:

I did of course see some selection boxes in April - or was it even July? - still around from last year. Many RTC items could linger on if they get forgotten about in the back of some store and then found months later and brought out onto the shop floor. Otherwise, they could remain right at the back of some RTC shelves for some time, behind a load of other stuff.

I still have fabric conditioner from this time (and mix with water).... and some car magnets still stuck to my fridge! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I am also still using conditioner from the 'car magnets' coupons. I dilute conditioner into a 5 litre bottle anyway, as manufacturers recommendations are designed to make you use too much!

(Had a tour of a detergent factory when I was a careers adviser and was told the recommended doses were always on the 'high side'. So, halve all the dosages of detergent and conditioner, and always dilute concentrated conditioner before using as this is the worst culprit for using more than you need!).

I make washing gloop as well, works out to about £1.50 a bucket. Lasts about a month. Thank goodness, as the amount of washing in our house is rediculous!

Perhaps I could persuade my children to have a New Years resolution to use a towel more than once!
