Morning all! Grey and damp today, no frost in sight, more's the pity.
Hope everyone has a successful and enjoyable day, and good luck to mhoc. I'm having one of those moments where I can see the whole day stretching in front of me, and a massive list of things I could do with it, but can't work out which to do first, the chores or the fun things, or just nothing at all!
DH is having lots of fun with the Amazon Echo dot, making it do things with just voice control and also writing new code to make it do new things. He's also starting to attach his new program to it as part of his new business idea, so anyone looking to book holidays could soon be doing it in a whole new waySo I'm glad I gave in and bought one for him, it's funny how something so simple has kept him occupied for hours :rotfl:
I'm stuck at worth Arthien, so living vicariously today. Do the fun things! :j Do the fun things! :j Do the fun things! :j:D“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -
Good Morning
Cold frosty and foggy on our Poppy's and mine walkies this morning.
Took longer this morning because she was sniffing here there and everywhere so it was stop start

Doctor gave him a number to call. I will be ringing shortly. We will go through all the palaver of DPA and they won't tell me a thing. I will tell them that it should be on his file that I can talk for him as he is deaf and hearing impaired. They will then advise me that it is not on his file, that they will have to check with the GP and can I call back in a couple of hours. I will then call back and get someone else and we will just repeat this mornings conversation. Happens all the time.:mad: Maybe I will be lucky today.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Fingers crossed that today is your lucky day. It's infuriating when this happens, where the hell do they put the Note rather than on patients file. Good luck xxMr Shoes - 3 x nail polish for £3 plus free £6.99 mascara

Nice deal but I've loads of nail varnish in my Ted Baker set that I treated myself too earlier in the year, very early on :rotfl:There's no place like home

Thanks, it's been ages since I did my nails and all my old varnishes have separated or gone solid, so I've treated myself and got a freebie on top0 -

I need to finish off my Christmassy snowmen and gingerbread men felt garlands, and I can kind of call it 'tidying up' if I need to, as they're currently taking up space on the floor with needles poking out :rotfl:0 -

Get it taken off if you're concerned. Ask again, it's a waste of nobody's time.
You should also measure them with a ruler to see if they increase in size. Anyone who has more than 50 moles has a higher risk of developing skin cancer. DH had malignant melanoma 4 years ago and I had to nag at him constantly to get one in the centre of his chest checked. Needed an incision right across his chest and bilateral removal of lymph nodes for belt and braces. Plastic surgeon who performed the op said I may very well have saved his life! Men are a nightmare when it comes to looking after themselves, fortunately he listens to me now and any tests offered him at well man checks he takes
Men! They think they know best. Mine had a lump appear on the side of his neck. Few years back. He moaned in and in that it was growing and he could feel something in his throats when he swallowed.
Eventually I scared him so much he fell in line and went to GP who sent him to hospital. It was just a cyst of some sort but he had it removed and all was well. It could have been so different though.Morning all! Grey and damp today, no frost in sight, more's the pity.

What a great gift to receive, that'll keep him quiet for hours :rotfl:I don't bother. Ugly caddy on work top, too much faff and I do think that it all ends up in land fill anyway.
They are ugly, but I've got mine behind my orchids :rotfl: luckily I have a compost bin so that's where mine goes. Which reminds me, I need new linersThere's no place like home

If I did that I would be shot. If I happen to leave a needle anywhere near the floor you can guarantee OH will find it and get very close to stepping on it :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
