    Morning Everyone :)

DD1 slipped down the stairs and has fractured her finger. It was literally sticking out at right-angles!!!

Hospital said it needs an operation but are worried that because its right at the bottom of her finger the operation may well not be successful! They're going to decide in a week...

Ouch. That sounds really painful. What is the poor girl supposed to do for a week?! :(

Thanks have ordered but wouldn't let me pay with points or use a Boots Gift card so Credit Card it was too good a bargain to miss!

    xx

... Wonders out loud how many of us Elite have been buying up items over the past few days as they were too good a bargain to miss :D?

I have selection boxes and boxes of biscuits (to break up for treats - cheaper than own brand :)), cards for next year, decorations (actually put up, slightly delayed, but still time to get some enjoyment out of them:A), turkey crowns and a few other items.

Mostly stuff we would buy in the future (... I did say mostly :)).

I am a lactose intolerant, infrequent drinker who rarely paints her nails and has no freezer space. So I'm doing pretty well avoiding all the bargains at the moment! :rotfl:

    Be grateful for any suggestions

About a year ago our council changed the recycling again and gave us a kitchen caddy... and about 200 biodegradeable liners on a rool, I think about 6l?

So we are now running out of liners and I was pretty shocked to find they aeem to be 11p+ each from the supermarkets for 20 packs. I can't beleive the council paid that much if they handed out 200 to every household so does anyone know where to get them in bulk at sensible prices?

Ask a few elderly neighbours, they probably still have loads of spares...I do it with recycling bags when I cant get to the library x

Its all strapped up in the most amazing metal and foam splint and she is under strict instructions not to use her hand for anything. So no driving and mum's taxi service back in service!
