well today is my D day

(not Saturday as I keep muddling the days up)

I have no idea how it is going to go but please can everything think intense bright shiny positive thoughts for me, it would be enough if we get through today with no cross words or tears - not expecting anything more really, just to get through it.

Give him a big hug and let bygones be bygone :)

happy new year to you and yours x

  • Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and have all enjoyed Christmas. I hope you have a fab day today. I am %65 tight.

I am going to try to have a very frugal January.

I will be resisting as much as possible buying any bargains apart from Mr shoes when it is the third Wednesday in January.

hey sis how doable is that do you reckon?xxx:p

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

If I did that I would be shot. If I happen to leave a needle anywhere near the floor you can guarantee OH will find it and get very close to stepping on it

It's on a bean bag lap tray thing, but it is still a risk! Not as bad as the time I sat on a friend's new-to-them sofa and felt something spiky underneath me. Turned out to be a needle her grandma had dropped and it had buried itself in the foam seat until my derrière retrieved it! :rotfl:

Not sure if already known but Poundland, along with all their Christmas decs, have many of their toiletry gift sets at 50p, and the larger 'Manager's Special' sets at 50% reduction.
