They are ugly, but I've got mine behind my orchids :rotfl: luckily I have a compost bin so that's where mine goes. Which reminds me, I need new liners :D

I keep my caddy in front of the bin, have to admit I have never lined it because I refuse to pay for compostable liners, mine only makes the journey to the compost bin anyway, find the mice that tend to live in it love the veg peelings :rotfl::rotfl:

There is a brilliant try me free offer on Edam cheese that squashysauage has posted about on the try me free thread. You can buy a piece of Edam up to the value of £15...a whole ball off the deli is about £13ish....just in time for those cheeseboards.

The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 were published on 13 December 2013 and came into force on 13 June 2014.

Regulation 41 requires an 01, 02, 03 or 080 number for after-sales enquiries and issues, and bans the use of premium rate 084, 087 or 09 numbers. In cases of non-compliance, the regulations give callers the right to a refund of any excess call costs incurred.

If you get nowhere in exercising your rights, complain to the Citizen's Advice national Consumer Helpline on 0345 404 0506.

Some don't seem to have a telephone number at all only email - is that allowed? Try not to deal with such companies.

I have no idea how it is going to go but please can everything think intense bright shiny positive thoughts for me, it would be enough if we get through today with no cross words or tears - not expecting anything more really, just to get through it.

Good luck mhoc. Positive thoughts heading your way xx

    Does the theory work?

I think DS1 has once been to the bar, he was sweating! OH tends to give them £20 to go to the bar....but I realised that he never gets change.

At least DS1 is buying most of his own clothes.... the other two don't know how to shop for clothes, or to have their hair cut in a barbers.

Whilst DS3 is much more independent.... but board and lodging is still a fictional topic! I have just had words with him about bringing a lady home for some hows your father when we don't know her name, and he has no intention of entering into a relationship with her.... the house is not a knocking shop! He has retreated to his room!

Just reminded me, about two years ago DH's father came on a rare visit. He NEVER goes to the pub but went with his sons. He wanted to buy a round for about 15 people. He gave my DH £10 to go to the bar with so DH just paid the rest. When all drinks were served he asked DH for his change :rotfl:
.......and DH gave him some :rotfl::rotfl:

    Morning Everyone :)

DD1 slipped down the stairs and has fractured her finger. It was literally sticking out at right-angles!!!

Hospital said it needs an operation but are worried that because its right at the bottom of her finger the operation may well not be successful! They're going to decide in a week...
