I also asked the collection girls when they were in !!!!!! the other week and they seemed to accept them but now you have me worried.
I've seen on SSC plenty of people donating their baby food stashes to food banks ...
I found the Fb page of my local so I've messaged them to get a definitive answer.
My local has made requests for long life juice ( so the OS MOCs will be useful) and canned fruit and toiletries

what about my post could possibly have you worried?

I'm off to T in a bit to get some fizz....I only need the cheap stuff so has anyone seen any prosecco cheaper than the £5 plaza that thay have on offer from today?

Just a general q to throw open to all....when do you actually start eating your christmas food....for weeks we seemed to have been getting bits and bobs together, but when does everyone actually start tucking in....

For us it will be tomorrow evening when we are having cold meats and fishy bits with maybe a bit of cheese....then probably most of that will need replenishing for another similar type of meal between christmas and new year.

I think I'm getting a little bit fed up of opening the fridge and seeing all these nice nibbly bits that are there under the pretence of being "for christmas" with no indication of when the eating actually starts
Did you miss the mystery fizz? I've had 2 boxes delivered this morning, not a bad selection £90 worth for £54 I'm happy with that.
You enjoy your isolation it sounds like heaven.
We appear to be getting more and more popular we've never had so many nights out planned.
Tonight eight of us are going to a Christmas evening with entertainment and staying overnight. On Monday night dh casually asks who's having Bobby.? I'd forgotten we had a dog!l! Its sorted now. :rotfl:
I'm well into this free baby food and is dated 2018 so will be fine for little Isla when she arrives:j I'm not sure I can wait another three months its just too exciting :j:j:j

This is a difficult question. Every time chocolate comes into the house it gets sampled so I have to keep replacing it :(

Officially it will start when we collect eldest child off the train on the 23rd (assume its the 23rd as no one has actually told me yet, I am turning into a mushroom)
Or possibly when OH finishes but I cant see that happening before Friday
So our Christmas is going to be a long weekend wonder which will start and end with seeing eldest child on and off trains

I was thinking this morning about how things are organised with their being just 3 of us - it will be a holds barred Christmas with the entire rule book thrown out of the window ...

I've got the nice gin and cherry liquers hidden away so there can be no accidental eating - just have to hope that I remember where they are stashed :D

So true :) My OH is so confused, having been badly told off last week for eating the wrong mince pies - he didn't realise there was a difference between the pre-Xmas and actual-Xmas ones :)

That I've been adding Hipp and Yummies to the food bank collection for months and our food bank cant use them

But I have a back up plan. I am certain the next town must have a foodbank so if ours refuses I will figure out where their collection point is and also I can message them to ask about baby food - might be just once a month I can drop off there but at least it wont get wasted
