If 1stop are in Shop Small, 12 Andrex are £4 so £2 is an excellent deal

AnonHi, did they say that 1stop are participating? I had emailed and they gave a general response about retailers having to confirm participation and if not they are removed (but if I find any that are participating and not credited to let them know). I am not sure whether to chance it or not?
AnonAMEX Shop Small One Stop!
Not read back so don't know if posted this morning, I've posted as tbear06 before but couldn't get logged in on that email. Anyhow I'm here because I bought £10 of stamps in a onestop this morning and got small shop email straight through. This shop is one I used last year but it's not listed this year. So once I had my email I went back in and spent another £10 and again email nearly straight back. Hope this helps some people. Off to find my other local onestops now!!
Just to confirm that I, too, have just been to One Stop and bought 36 Andrex loo rolls for £12, thank you, Anon. The email came through immediately. Fridge and freezer are full but loo-roll stash was looking small, so that seemed the best option for me!
Really glad to have been able to help. Usually I benefit from others. Now going to look for other One Stop stores!0 -

Just had a call from British Gas to say they need to install my smart meters. I was not aware that it was compulsory. Is that correct.0

I have put them off twice so far.
The meters belong to the energy company who fits them so if you change supplier in the future they have to be changed again! !

No it's not compulsory
I had smart meters installed and then 2 weeks later switched supplier and now they are no longer smart meters at all because the new supplier can't connect to them remotely. These early models that they are installing now will be replaced with a next gen model that can migrate between suppliers so even if you do want one I would hold out for now
The only good thing about it all was my engineer was late coming to install them and so I got a £30 statement credit :money:
ETA: read this which says you don't have to accept but you might have to if your supplier deems it a safety issue:

I had one installed a few weeks ago as I always forget to send meter readings in and would end up with estimated bills.
They said it would automatically send readings to them.
Guess who turned up yesterday , yes a meter reader:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
