AMEX Shop Small One Stop!
Not read back so don't know if posted this morning, I've posted as tbear06 before but couldn't get logged in on that email. Anyhow I'm here because I bought £10 of stamps in a onestop this morning and got small shop email straight through. This shop is one I used last year but it's not listed this year. So once I had my email I went back in and spent another £10 and again email nearly straight back. Hope this helps some people. Off to find my other local onestops now!!
You got two on the same or different cards please? The promo is one £5 credit per store?

Thank you - I know I can just leave them in there, but do they actually accept them or do they then just create a problem for them to get rid of as they don't actually want/need/distribute baby food?
I am probably just over thinking it and they will pass on if they don't distribute directly.
Many thanks

sorry should have made it a little clearer in my last post
It might we worthwhile checking with the customer service desk before toy drop them off as different local banks may have different rules...in my store they are accepting. over the past few months there has also been regular manned days where someone from the bank is there handing out leaflets to shoppers...certainly the bank linked with my T accept baby items,in fact non food items for babies ie nappies are a godsend to them also.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

I'm wondering if their take up on the comp has been less than they thought and they're giving away more prizes
. Worth having a go when you get 5 mins
I live in hope and am grateful for my one win

I donated a lot of hipps when the foodbank peeps were actually there in person manning the foodbank collection point. They were very grateful for it
Jars of baby food have tamper evident lids anyway so i see even less of an issue with those
If possible, donate at T because they top up your donation by something like 20/30% (at least they used to, i presume they still do)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Haven't been on here in a while, hope its not posted already but Toffifee 400g Box (48 pieces) is BOGOF @ Tesco £4 .... or 3 for £10 @ Asda
could this affect TBG/APG?0 -

I also asked the collection girls when they were in !!!!!! the other week and they seemed to accept them but now you have me worried.
I've seen on SSC plenty of people donating their baby food stashes to food banks ...
I found the Fb page of my local so I've messaged them to get a definitive answer.
My local has made requests for long life juice ( so the OS MOCs will be useful) and canned fruit and toiletries“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Where are you finding it? I've tried nectar and sainsbobs but cannot see the offer/padlock. tia
I think everyone is getting very different offers on nectar.com“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
It is very helpful - I had wondered if there was any point me posting CoS and CS offers as we are all regular users. Hiwever, as their offers seem to update at random times it is probably helpful if we do as if it helps just one person not miss it (as it was not there when they checked earlier) then it is worthwhile :A.

They seem to have an awful lot of one day or 48 hour offers now which appear completely at random - I was annoyed at not being able to get to Sada earlier in the week when the Volvic water waters re appeared just for a day“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
I'm off to T in a bit to get some fizz....I only need the cheap stuff so has anyone seen any prosecco cheaper than the £5 plaza that thay have on offer from today?
Just a general q to throw open to all....when do you actually start eating your christmas food....for weeks we seemed to have been getting bits and bobs together, but when does everyone actually start tucking in....
For us it will be tomorrow evening when we are having cold meats and fishy bits with maybe a bit of cheese....then probably most of that will need replenishing for another similar type of meal between christmas and new year.
I think I'm getting a little bit fed up of opening the fridge and seeing all these nice nibbly bits that are there under the pretence of being "for christmas" with no indication of when the eating actually startsfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
