    Paid with cc vouchers ;)

    Sounds like fun.:D:D

Similar one 4524 was recently on offer in Curry's for around £37 with free 5 month trial of the instant ink (currently £59.99 - will no doubt bebavk on sale soon:D) - do Ts include the free ink? I am considering it as it could be cheap ink - also if you recommend or are recommended you can apparently get another free month added too .

Ta for this, it must have just appeared as I was writing lists at 8 this morning.

I started a list of everything we have had in the build up to Christmas free from COS,Q and shopimum and from MOC/BG/APG usage - its an almost comprehensive list especially for the ladies who got the Mail turkeys :D

    Good morning all....

So much has passed me by this week but today I am trying to catch up.

Before I forget I must say "fab artwork VT.....Amazing"....in everything I forgot to comment on during the last week the penguins put a brief smile on my face.

ILTS...well done on finding some information on befriending and giving it a go...if it works out I think you might really enjoy it.
I used to do a similar thing a few years back, not linked to a charity but very locally with a neighbour whom I formed an understanding with.It took quite a long time to build foundations but our "gentle friendship" eventually lasted for 5 years until her death....but it was good for us both.
I totally get that some elderly people are not always receptive,my mum was similar but if you can find someone who genuinely just wants a little light in life without major strings on either part it can be so rewarding. It just goes back to being kind.

I've not seen Nanny posting....do we have an idea that she is ok...or still in the midst of a big declutter and then busy for christmas....hopefully LaLa is keeping her busy.

cjj...hope the job is going ok...it will take a time to really settle in but I hope that you are slowly finding your feet

My news....DS is home for christmas and new year tomorrow...we all plan to shut ourselves away and do nothing but eat and drink,a few coal fires and some christmas jumpers!.....that is until he decides to see his friends from school how are also all drifting back for the holidays.

    Have a lovely day all.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Postie has brought another set of JL coffee and cake vouchers for OH - these are different though, one for December, one for Jan and one for Feb - no idea why JL thinks my OH is so special :D

The December one is going to take some squeezing in, maybe next week.
My January one does not start until half way through the month - at least that month we wont be sharing our cake and coffee :D

Do all food banks (collection points in T and W) accept baby food or only specific ones please? I thought I may as well get the free baby food on CoS if someone could benefit from it, rather than just let the offer expire, but we have no requirements in our family at the moment.

    Many thanks
