    :o

Reading a rather good book called Getting Rid Of Matthew & eventually put it down at 2.15am - so have slept in :o But my defence is I slept very soundly as cold is behaving itself :D

Won a huge box of Foxs Fabulously 900gs for 50p raffle ticket.
Was a little concerned that when we open them we would have to eat them quickly
Anyway box got a bit damaged on way home so we decided to open them.
Luckily they are in 3 sealed packets :D

Nice to see LEJC and cjj posting.I'm struggling to keep up.I think lack of daylight this time of year makes some people feel down. One of my sisters has aspecial light box which she finds helps.

Nice to see ILGD's as well with sallywags and ppl it's not hard to recognise who some people are.

Hope Ditzy's mum 's op goes well.

We had the sausages last night zippy and I was really disappointed. They were the black pepper ones. I did them in the oven and about a cupful of fat/water came out of them_pale__pale_
And the skins were so tough too. I won't buy them again.

Aren't we due some new offers in W soon.

A few Nectar ones end today too:)

i just GRILLED 3 red onion ones. i can honestly say, the liquid content that was in the small tray i used, was about a teaspoon full.

perhaps you ought to learn to cook :rotfl::rotfl:

    Afternoon all!

Feeling a bit stressed with all the house mess and junk and never-ending dust today. I just want to have a nice festive lead up to Christmas with a house that I don't have to feel embarrassed about having people to stay over in, but DH wants each thing he does to be perfect, so it's taking forever. He has now decided to change the pipework connecting the radiators in our room and the spare room. It'll look so much better when it's done, but it's a big job, and so much hassle in the meantime, and it'll delay the other parts of the project even more. His favourite phrase is 'it'll be fine', which is driving me up the wall!

    Aaaand breathe!!! :o

I have 2 requests for assistance if I may. I've ordered a turkey but now I'm panicking it's going to be huge. The butcher reckoned I needed a 14lb-er, for 5 people on the day and some leftovers, but I'm not convinced. Does anyone have a good way of working it out?

Also, I'm looking for some snowy-effect baubles, or red and white, to complete my silver and red scandi-style tree. If anyone spots any for a reasonable price, please shout :)

I'm about to dash out to T to do a shop and am just cutting out the mocs from the Dec mag. Are there any in the body of the mag which I have missed please? (I missed the soup ones last time until after the recycling had gone!) Thank you in advance.

Quorn is good to go, thanks izzey

Could only do one shop as walked to my A and DGD1's pram tray isn't that big. Lost on the lemon and lime but gained on the brocolli and cue :)
