    also nipped up to sainsbobs.

Aldi no longer seem to be stocking the lemon mayo :( - must be a summer only item. Ive been looking for weeks now trying to find another brand that does it with no success. But I struck gold in Sainsbobs - Hellmans lemon reduced to £1.13 so I got the last 4 bottles to last me through until Aldi stock it again

(aldi chicken gougons taste yummy dipped in it :) )

so I put these 4 bottles through the Ss machines, one at a time as Ive got another of these Nectar offers - swipe nectar card 8 times and then months afters after a long struggle you might get 100 point bonus but only after you have emailed and spent half an hour on live chat :rotfl:

each transaction gave me a till spit - spend £25 on Tu clothing and get 8p off fuel and once spend £15 on Tu get 8p fuel valid until the 29th so now I have 4 of these.
I might need to get some badly fitting clothing :)

I said to him it would be 5 people and then leftovers but thinking about it, the leftovers will only be for me and DH, maybe he was counting leftovers for all 5? I might reduce it to 11-12lbs, as DH is paranoid we won't have enough, but that will save a good chunk of money and freezer space, thanks :D

It all depends on wether you are feeding grown adults or children.

But our turkey wont be very big - by the time you have done pigs in blankets, yorkshire puds, mash, roasties, 2 lots of stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes, roast parsnips etc there is hardly enough room on the flat for any meat :)

(yes we are weird having york pud and sweet potoatoes :rotfl: )

Anyone else had an email from Ts with 500 extra CC points if you buy anything from Ts Direct?
50p measuring jug is good ;)

Ive just picked up a Mr T order :( Ive only done a few orders - pillows and cushions this year but I suppose that means no extra cc points for me :(

sounds really lovely - its very useful having a student, all sorts of weird and wonderful things can go in their Christmas stockings.

I finally gave up on stockings a couple of years ago, no one was getting out of bed at the crack of dawn anymore to open them
Plus months later When the youngest brought all of his goods and chattels back home before he set off for Hk it included all of the Christmas stocking contents unused and unwanted - horrible brat

It used to take me days to organise the stockings as I used to wrap all of the contents for all three of them so I still miss doing them but its difficult enough now trying to get the main presents

Steal away anything you think is suitable....
What's everyone else putting in christmas stockings/bags/boxes for their older kids if do them?
I'm all too aware that we are not a conventional family when it comes to christmas(having never personally cooked a christmas lunch....and spent more in the sun than in the cold)...although this year we are home.
Our presents are usually exchanged a few days before christmas as the day itself has more often or not started at Gatwick and by travelling against the time zones we can sometimes make christmas day last 28 hours from start to finish.

We dont really do main presents either...just the bags of stuff which over the years have really evolved into what can only be described as a mixture of tradition/freebies and tat!!!

    Afternoon folks :)

Thank you for your good wishes. I am home. Frustratingly, so is my mum. They had trouble with her airway and had to stop. Incredibly disappointing and frustrating for us and her medical team but the best step to take because if they'd kept trying, she would have ended up in intensive care

They have already come up with a new plan, which they couldn't put into place today but will do so when they try again. Hopefully we won't have a long wait but it will definitely be after the new year

The Restaurant Choice gift cards can be spent in a selection of popular dining chains across the UK, such as Nando’s, PizzaExpress, Yo!Sushi, Caf! Rouge, Handmade Burger Co., Ask Italian, Zizzi, Jamie’s Italian, and The Real Greek.

I've purchased before from morrisons recently.

Free baby food on COS from Superdrug today - 3 offers.

If anyone does the free cow and gate babyfood offer for COS from Superdrug please can you tell us what you bought with barcodes please. I stand looking at rows of babyfood and the eyes glaze over.

I am thinking that I have over £5 in superdrug points mainly from ones I was awarded when I had a problem order (ie free money) So I am thinking that Superdrug points have a finite life so I might as well buy some babyfood, some I will recoup via COS and the jars can go in the food bank trolley and the points wont go our of date :)
