I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

Can I ask the Elite what the current protocol is when your children marry......who pays for what these days?

I promise this is not for me....I think my two are years away from that but a friend has asked me and I haven't got a clue.

If you have a son, should you offer to contribute to the wedding?

Any advice will be passed on:)

    Off for a catch up

    Hey....it's been red hot today:T:T

We were advised by DS five years ago that the costs were to be split 3 ways. They had lived together for some time, so they would contribute a third. DIL's parents has a set amount and we could offer a similar amount :)

Do you know we just agreed as it seemed sensible although we had helped with the first house purchase We did not have uni life to fund beforehand though

It was warm and sunny when we left southport and wet and cold when we arrived home :(

The Hipp aren't in the offer now bubbs, but lots of the 77p ones should compare A v Morries, £7.70 v £5, giving £3.20 apg.

  • How do you mean? The clock on it was just flashing. The grill is a top oven aswell but it's the main oven they can't get working.

We need to set the clock on ours or the main oven won't work. just set it to 12
