I'm sure us lot can come up with some good suggestions as to why we would be good "wear testers".
25 pairs of CAT boots to be won and one winner gets £500 too.

I wouldn't pay £1 for a bodyspray at a CB - as that's my base price anyway even in a shop.
Best CB I ever did was one where I deliberately assembled a collection of £5 or over items and at first that's all I put out. Because even if only 20 of those sell, that's £100 and worth while doing. You don't want to take up too much precious selling space with low value stuff, although it does have a role on the sidelines.
I've only really got loads of low value stuff. It's all the things I went overboard buying in the past.
:o
Have a load of Ambre Solaire wash off self tans too think RRP is around £7 mark. I was thinking 50p for the body sprays but wondered if that might even be too much. And I thought maybe 50p for the mini body creams they are ones like FCUK and Ted Baker from Boots sets.
I was thinking most of the stuff would be 50p/£1. I just want rid of it but maybe I am kidding myself it might sell. :rotfl:0 -
I just had pickled onions paid100

In winter I use E45 as hand cream and that's about it apart from some lip balm.
I can live with a few crinkles and wrinkles and grey hairs but I can't cope with feeling sticky at all.
Glad I'm not the only one. I don't wear moisturiser or anything like that, unless I have a patch of dry skin. But then, I don't wear makeup either, stemming from the way it always used to go on funny when I was younger, and the strongest thing I use on my face is soap.
I have a friend who is a year older than me, she always wears makeup and uses remover, toner, moisturiser, and I would swear she looks 10 years older,What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

We need another hairdryer glitch then to give you some higher value stock.
You could do a bumper box on collection only on the Bay or FB? Set a price that makes you some profit and see what happens.
Don't let me put you off, see what other folk think before you decide, I haven't done a CB for 4 years.
Bubbs will know best, I'm sure. x“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

What about a car boot sale. DS1 did some when he was home, in the main he was selling stuff that DS3 would not e-bay as not cost effective, but always managed to steal a fair bit of my toiletries... he made well over a grand.100 -
Yesterday I used COS for the first time - 3 jars of pickled onions (same variety ) on the same receipt as I thought I was allowed to make 3 claims per group. They have only paid me for 1 jar - any advice on what I did wrong please ?ELITE 5:2

My beauty routine is :eek: and I hardly have any wrinkles.
I do however have to moisturise my feet overnight, if I don't in the middle of the night I wake up with them aching and then have to do it... strange!100 -

Just remembered there are a few electricals not brand new though, DD3's whims.
