Meant to say yesterday T were selling Bendicks mints at £3 instead of £5 also online.

HB today have Thorntons Gruffalo Xmas hollow figures at 1.50.

And have just now had an email from Bon Marche to say my order has been shipped.

This being the order I actually received last week....

Freecycle is a very strange place sometimes. Today I spotted a wanted advert for bed side light.
A chap wanted it for his daughter who had split up from her long term partner and had come back from New Zealand

I don't know why we needed to know the back story but now of course we want to know a lot more. For instance if she has come back from NZ I would imagine that she could not fit very much into her case so a bedside light would be the least of things she would need so I wonder why the bedside light is the most pressing item

it must have been a very serious and permeant split up to warrant getting an expensive flight from NZ and having to go and live with a parent - must have been quite sudden and unexpected as well as the parent was not ready for long term visitors, not even a bedside light

and then there is the other back story to the failed romance - how she ended up in NZ, what she was doing out there, was she studying or working, and why she had to come home ...:D

You couldn't loan DS1 out could you? :rotfl:

Must admit fills me with dread but I promised Mr TS I would make some money. :o EBay fills me with dread too I know I would probably forget to post something. :rotfl:

If you can find DS1 in the middle of Cambodia, you are welcome to keep him, he costs a fortune... and was the reason why I had a melt down over kids/money a few weeks ago. :D:D

DS3 would make you more money but also spend more!
