Well I just got back from A ...and there's not a pickled onion on the shelf!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
Email them, i usually send another copy of my receipt, they are good with their responses and apologetic if they made the mistake
I certainly can't complain about the service - they have sorted it out already ! Apparently I should have input the quantity rather than just uploading the receipt. I must have missed that out. Anyway, I am impressed - why the hell has it taken me 2 years after registering with them to actually use them !ELITE 5:2

Crikey thats a lot of money....I have to confess I've only ever been to 2 CBsales in my life.....and both times I thought it was more like an open air jumble sale rather than selling anything I wanted.
I know Nanny likes a bit of booty and TBH,I'd love to find a good one that really caught my imagination rather than the piles of kids toys and toddler clothes that look like they have seen better days
The last time I went to one must have been 5 years ago....have they really changed that much ....or will I just be able to spot the elite selling toiletries?
Confession I have never bought anything from a car boot, and have only done 4 in my life the last one being when DD1 started uni to help with her first shopping bill that must have been about 7 years ago now.
I do remember another Elite telling me that the Ts 1p Thorntons mint chocolates were for sale at the annual Easter Tesco car park sale. Now whether that was Ts having their own stall or one of us I don't know. :rotfl:
The info on the one I might go to specifically says no food items, so won't be able to get rid of any of my 20p Sainsbob bargains while they are still in date.0 -

I have to agree with you, I hate going to them... I always feel like I need a shower afterwards!
DS3 had bought a job lot of electrical cables, and sold the high cost items which led to him setting up a little business selling this on eBay. DS1 sold just a small proportion of the stuff that is not viable to sell on eBay (there are still hundreds of boxes left). I have to admit DS1 could sell snow to the eskimos, and as he is white British with bright blue eyes but speaks arabic he was very popular with the people frequenting this car boot which added to his sales. I have tried to persuade OH to do some more car boots but he refuses.... I think I may refuse to buy him anymore alcohol!100 -
