SD is back and just tried one of the body butters and it's still working 6 for 2. £7.98 for 6 :money:

So guess some of the other stuff might still be working too.

That makes me feel better I'm not the only one. :D

I don't like the feel of it under my clothes and then you could use it before bed but then I don't like the thought of it on the bed sheets. :o Well sometimes I don't mind. :rotfl: TMI. :o

I think if you're well hydrated and eat plenty of fruit and veg and oily fish, your skin will feel naturally softer with less need for the gloopy stuff.

In winter I use E45 as hand cream and that's about it apart from some lip balm.

I can live with a few crinkles and wrinkles and grey hairs but I can't cope with feeling sticky at all.

I really don't like that body butter feel. :o My mum used to get through tubs and tubs of the stuff, you could have thought she was eating it. :rotfl:

That's why I have so many now, me and the girls would try them a couple of times and body lotions get fed up with them pass them on to my mum who would use up our leftovers it worked well.

It's a shame as most gift sets always contain them, and none of the four of us are big users. Before DD2 left for uni this year she had a sort out and I added her unused ones to my car boot corner that should be happening soon. Not sure how much to sell them for most are just the mini sizes.

morning all.i swear by palmers body butter the unscented version, when i had the dedication of using it every day i was always being complemented on my soft skin.:).i`ve still got tubes of the no7 body serum we got on glitchy ordersi really dont like that.:(.also have more smellies than i know what to do with so didnt even look at the sd site.sure i could put a photo up and we would all recognise the glitch the various items came from.:rotfl:

Be careful with the pickles, I've had my shop from yesterday declined on COS. I bought 9 jars in total on one receipt. I have e-mailed to find out why.

yes I have had the same, I also had the suckies on the same receipt and that was denied and also the 1p for receipt upload that was denied:eek:

While I'm thinking about car boot, how much would body sprays sell for, I had a huge stash and all the girls stopped using them.

I have mostly Charlie ones and think a few "So" ones possibly couple of Impulse but think they may have been used ones so been put in separate box.

I really don't have a clue what to price anything at to be honest. :o

Oh and is it better to actually mark prices or wait to be haggled not sure I want to do that...

I thinking of doing one. I've gone no shampoo and silicone free conditioner so have loads I can't use!

    Tassimo pods £2.39 pack. :j

Code on TASSIMO site for lowest price item free. Works on coffee lovers bundle. Order 3 bundles so you get one free works out 15 packs around £2.39 a pack. :money:

Unfortunately you can't only order 2 as then the minimum £25 spend is not met.
  • I just sunflower oil as moisturiser.

Are the body butter worth getting to sell at my car boot? hmm

Ah now the grey hairs, I can't cope with. But then I did start going grey quite young in my twenties. :( And unfortunately once you start on that slippery road. :o

It's funny though as when my roots are quite bad my scalp gets really dry and flaky but once I dye my hair it goes away after a few days. Can't figure that one out.

I don't have any wrinkles yet so I must be doing something right. ;)

Just got a phone call from DD2, she doesn't like it that she has a cleaner in the accommodation she is in at the moment. :rotfl:

What is the girl thinking, I wouldn't mind someone coming in to do mine every week.

I'd have a 50p items box at one end of the stall and a £1 items box at the other end (just so people don't say they're from the cheaper box) and then individually price anything more expensive.

I wouldn't pay £1 for a bodyspray at a CB - as that's my base price anyway even in a shop.

Best CB I ever did was one where I deliberately assembled a collection of £5 or over items and at first that's all I put out. Because even if only 20 of those sell, that's £100 and worth while doing. You don't want to take up too much precious selling space with low value stuff, although it does have a role on the sidelines.
